"Hey, man. Wake yourself up," says Rayne. She hands me a chocolate and a bottle of water.

I had totally forgot I had basketball practice in the morning for a tournement two hours after school started. I got up at five, sleepy as hell.

I still managed to have a little energy left enough to practice. They bought us breakfast and I ended up buying another meal for myself. We're going to Corpus Christi's campus, to my dismay. I fell asleep for half am hour before we had to get off to use the loo. And right now I'm awake as we go back to the bus.

"Thanks." I grab the chocolate bar and the water bottle. I open the chocolate and eat half of the twelve pieces. Putting the rest away, Jay hands me a bag. "What's this?" I say, coming out as "whuff tit?" Cause of the amount of chocolate I just devoured.

"Leave my tits alone. It's a few burritos and some chips with more chocolate and milk. Oh! And chicken. Coach said it was okay as long as you had enough energy for the game." My eyes widen. I push the bag away from me and into her arms.

"No!" I shake my head and make hand motions. Sitting down, I say, "Nuh-uh. You guys are wasting your money on me. I will not accept that."

Jay laughs from behind me. "Relax. It was only about six dollars. And anyways, I owe you from that time you bought me Tylenol at the store that one game where I got a fever and a water with some Campbell's."

"Yeah, she owes you." Says Gabby. She sits down next to me and looks hype. I frown. "How come you're all up and hyper?" She laughs.

"I got a monster drink. Want some?" I scrunch up my nose as she waves the drink in my face. She chuckles, "didn't think so."

I take the bag from Jay and get put the burritos. I may look fit but I eat like a pig. "I'm sooooooo hungry!" I moan. The bus laughs when Rayne yells, "Lesley has chocolate orgasm," from the back. I smile, "Hell yeah." I fist pump in the air and they laugh.

My phone rings and I see Jake's picture with Damian. I slide to answer and place the phone over my ear. "What's up?"

He laughs. "Their is tons of pictures of you and Austin and the other celebrities you and your friend were seen with on the internet." He keeps on laughing and I hear a clatter. "Sorry I dropped my phone. You need to check them out. And there's also an article that says you abuse Austin."

I laugh, and clutch my stomach. "Send me the link."

"Roger that." I chuckle. "What are you, co-pilot?"

"Hell yeah." I laugh and hang up. "Who was that?" Asks Jay.

"Jake. Deep friend of mine."

"What were you talking about?" Asks Gabby. I chuckle. "They think I abuse Austin and wrote an article about it. Rayne runs up as the coach gets on. "You," she points at me. "Abuse Austin?" We look at each other and burst out laughing.

My phone blares 'you had me at hello' by A Day To Remember as I receive Jake's text. I open it up and click on the link.

I read it all and laugh all through it. "This is hilarious. Imma send it to Godzilla."

We keep on laughing and the coach tells us to be quiet. After sending the message to Austin, and put it down. About a minute later, my phone blasts the same song. I check his message. Theirs a little smiley face that's laughing and crying at the same time.

I chuckle. "Alright we should be there in thirty minutes. I need you to behave when we get there. Lesley?" He points at me. I nod, "Yeah, coach?"

He puts his finger down. "I need you to be careful. I know you don't have a good history with this city." I nod. I definitely don't. We're twenty minutes from my parents crash scene and ten from the cemetery they were buried in.

A hand holds mine as I look away from the window I was currently looking at while I was lost in my thoughts. "Everything will be fine, babe. Calmate." I release a shaky breath and nod slowly.

Five minutes later, we pass by the cemetery. My eyes quickly dart to where my parents are buried, far in the distance. My eyes fill with tears, and one falls. Then we pass by the ballroom where we held my sweet fifteen. Flashes of that day flash in my head. The dances, the fun, and most of all... my parents. I see the park and the place my mom worked at and break out in sobs. I bring up my knees placing my feet on the seat, burying my head in between. I let out loud sobs, trying to keep them quiet but fail miserably. As soon as I calm down eight minutes after, I raise my head and look out the window, not failing to see the dent my parents car left on the sewage tower. A car piece stuck in it. I break down crying again. I whimper, stutter to try to speak lightly to myself and sob loudly trying to shut up so I won't make coach regret bringing me. But it's too hard.

I lift up my head and take a deep breath. Tears still slip my eyes but no sounds but muffled whimpers come out of me.

"Here," says Gabby from next to me. She hands me her black iPhone and presses it up against my ear. I sniffle, wipe my tears and speak into the receiver. "Hello?"

"You sure you don't want me to go over there? I'll tell mom and take Austin and the rest with me," says Bryce. I shake my head. "I'll be fine. It's just been a while and brings back memories." I sniffle and wipe my nose with my sweater. Disgusting? I know. But that's the last thing on my mind.

"I told you it wasn't a good idea..." mumbles Bryce. I can almost imagine him shaking his head, pinching the bridge if his nose and running a hand through his hair. I scoff. "I'm not that way no more. I can handle it. It's just..."

I pause, taking a deep breath. "It's just everything is so close to each other and-"

"And every single part of that city holds a memory you made with Aunt 'Elda and Uncle Max." He finishes for me. I nod. "Yeah."

"It'll be fine."

I nod. "You'll be fine."

"She will be, thanks to me." Says Gabby into the end of the receiver, hugging me. I laugh, lightly. "Alright, let me to talk to the gabberflabs. Sarah is back and it won't be pretty." My eyes widen. "Holy Llamas."

I remove the phone from my ear and press it against Gabby's. A moment of silent passes before her eyes widen as I watch her intently.

I look away from her as she starts to whisper to the phone in a hushed way. The bus stops and I see my old school come into view. People come in and out of the school. Teams from Hannah, Alice, Laredo and even from McAllen come out and go in.

My stomach gets an uneasy feeling and I suddenly wish I hadn't come.

"Come on, Lesley. It'll be fine." Says Jay as Gabby gets off the bus without telling me, still on the phone. I don't blame her. Sarah coming back is not good considering what happened in the last two weeks between her and Alex. I nod and graby stuff getting more testy eyed as I hop off the bus and see images of my parents entering this school.

Tears slip my eyes and I cover my mouth to muffle the sob omitting my throat. "Shh. Baby. It'll be fine." Assures the assistant coach, Mrs. Martinez. I nod. And still cry, tears coming down one after another. Jay and Rayne come over to me as Gabby hangs up the phone and does the same, taking a hold of my hand. "Let's do this." She smiles. I force a smile, no emotions shown and grab my headphones from the duffel bag over my shoulder. My navy blue beats are placed over my head as I look for a song.

'Im on way. be there in thirty. ;)'
