Katniss's mother pov
I woke at around dawn. I wanted to go check on Katniss.
As I walked over to her, she was cuddled in gales arms. His lips were on here forhead where it was cut. Tears filled my eyes. Because I thought of everything that could happen to them. What would the one do without the other if the worst happened. Katniss had tear stains on her checks. Maybe she had nightmares. Gale was there for her.
