"Daaaaaddddd," I say as we walk back to the hotel after practice.

"Yes child," he says.

"Can you handle the kiddos on your own ?" I ask.

"Why ?" He asks.

"I want to take that beautiful wife of yours to breakfast," I smile at him. "I'm in definite need of mother, daughter time."

"Did um, did João tell you about," he clears his throat, "your biological mo," he starts but I call him off.

"Don't you dare call her my mother, that woman isn't my mother, Georgina is," I say, "yes, he told me."

"How do you feel ?" He asks.

"Angry," I sigh, "not for me, but for Gio, now she's questioning things and being a bit insecure and I don't like that, I don't care that Gio didn't give birth to me, I don't care we're not blood, she's my mother."

"She was afraid for you," my dad says.

"I'm just worried about her, I don't care about that lady, I only care about Gio and how she's feeling, which is why I want to take her to breakfast," I say. "So you think you can handle the kids ?"

"I can," he says.

"Good," I say running off to my room to get showered and dressed.

Me: Mother of mineeee !!
Are you awake ?

Mother: Yes

Me: Good
Get dressed, we're having breakfast today, just you and I !!

Mother: What about your siblings ?

Me: Dad said he could handle it :)
I'm not taking no for an answer >:(
I want breakfast with you
I'm having breakfast with you.
I'll be up there soon !!

Mother: So demanding

Me: I'll be over soon 😚

I quickly take a shower, get dressed and do my hair. João walks in from the adjacent door in his room. He knocks on the bathroom door and I give him the okay to come inside.

"You look beautiful," he says coming up behind me and kissing my cheek.

"Thank you," I smile at him through the mirror.

"What's the occasion ?" He asks.

"Breakfast with Gio," I say.

"Ahhh, you're leaving me," he pouts.

"Mhm, you can help run daddy daycare if you'd like," I laugh.

"You're leaving your dad alone with five kids ?" He asks.

"They're good kids, they'll be fine," I say.

"I'll pop my head in and see if he needs any help," he laughs.

"Thank you," I kiss him, "I'm gonna go meet Gio."

"Can I walk you or is that like illegal ?" He jokes.

I make a face, "I'd risk it for you," I laugh.

"Holding hands would be pushing it ?" He asks.

"I think unknown would KILL me," I laugh. "You can kiss me before we go though, and then in the elevator," I giggle.

He places small kisses all over my face and finally reaches my lips. He plants a very sweet and short kiss.

"Okay let's go," he laughs.
