It's time for Smackdown, one last Smackdown before Payback in a couple of days, Logan wasn't at the show last week, since they filmed the promo before so he was able to stay home, alone with just the animals, Alexis has still stayed in New York since their little, well, argument really, although it was more Alexis being rightfully mad at Logan, she has spoke to him, but only over texts, she's just scared for him but so is he which makes this scenario so much worse then it seems.
Austin: Kenway...
Logan looked up to the US Champion while the camera rolled for their promo today, Austin has the Main Event against Santos Escobar for the US title tonight, a little harsh since they have a match coming up on Payback but it's all part of the story.
Austin: ... I know what you want. What your after.
Logan smiled a little while looking back to what he was doing, he was on his phone seeing if Alexis had messaged him back but she hadn't yet, so he gave up waiting and put his phone away, standing up standing face to face with Theory.
Logan: Is that right? Then what is it? What am I after?
Logan asked looking between Austin and the title but it seems clear that he's not interested in that to the crowd, he's not interested in having Theory lose the title either, he proved then when he was the ref the other week in Austins match against Cameron Grimes, if Logan wanted the US title, he could have got it from Cameron much easier then Theory but he helped Theory keep the belt.
Austin: You want to be the best, and to do that, you have to beat the best, that's why you want me at Payback this Sunday.
Austin seemed pretty pleased with himself, he honestly thinks he knows what Logan wants from all this but it's nothing to do with that, okay, it isn't far, it's actually his closest guess yet but it's still not quite there.
Logan: Close, but still no. If I want to beat the best, I'd go back to RAW and beat Seth Rollins, or go fight Roman Reigns but I'm here. With you. Why...?
Logan asked as he shrugged and really wanted Austin to tell him what he needs to hear but he didn't, all Austin did was sigh and shrug the US title back on his shoulder, Logan sighed and shook his head "No" while looking to the floor.
Logan: ... Guess, we'll find out at Payback. Good luck tonight. You're gonna need it.
Logan patted his shoulder then walked out the camera shot and the locker room, now leaving Austin to get ready for his match tonight, Austin will be dropping the title tonight as they go into Payback, Logan has his job to do tonight but he didn't need to get changed or anything, he just stuck his his basic attire, though at Payback he is looking to wear a proper set of wrestling gear.
Logan gave smiles and quick little small talk as he walked down the hall, heading towards the catering area to just relax, he needs to think about what's going on, it's been days since Alexis found that car and her not being home with him when he's there is really eating him up inside, he knows he did wrong but he can't help but feel the need to get over the fear that's latched onto him, he did stop though when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket, Logan continued to walk as he pulled his cellphone out to see Gionna sent him two messages.
