Gold's GameBoy Color (Lost Silver x Reader)(Finished)

What GGC was GOING to be like

(Not a chapter, just a big information drop type thing)

GGC didn't always have the plot line it has now, it was actually very different.
In the original drafts for the story, a few characters and scenes were left out. In addition to this, a few scenes that were in the original version were removed from the published version.
The original version was unnamed and was written on a piece of notebook paper. There were only 2 actual sentences followed by a bunch of other notes for the storyline (so it might not make sense).
So without further ado, here is (a typed version of) what GGC looked like before I got Wattpad (bold text will be what the notes say)

Part 1: the 2 sentences
(Name) stared emptily at her GameBoy as it suddenly turned black. She had replaced the battery this morning, so why was it acting up?

Part 2: notes
Things that happen
1. (Name) tells R she doesn't need games anymore because she lost her GameBoy
(The notes never explained how she knew R, why she borrowed games from him, or how she lost the GameBoy)
2. R thinks she is getting bullied
3. (Name) finds a note and decides that going to the river is better than going home and seeing her family
(Her parents aren't established as characters, it is only mentioned that they are toxic. Cherry and the Hooded Man are also left out of these early drafts)
4. Sad attempt at small talk and games with Gold
(It is never established how (name) and Gold meet)
5. Stressful week, (name) decided to sleep away from her home (because it is toxic)
6. Gold finds (name) in the woods and Steven and Glitchy get angry
7. (Name) at the pokepastas house
8. Normal week at school
9. Halloween filler
(Yeah, that was a thing from the very beginning)
10. More casual between Gold and (name). Glitchy and Steven give in a bit
(If you don't understand number 10, neither do I. I have no clue what I was saying)
11. Gold breaks his copy of Pokémon Silver and everyone begins to search for a new one
12. R has a copy but insists that he needs to know/see why (name) needs it
13. R reveals that he thought (name) was being bullied. Glitchy and Steven walk in and Steven restrains Glitchy because Glitchy wants to hurt R because R is actually Red
(Between 13 and 14, Red is asked why he talks now considering how he was always silent before. This leads to a flashback to when he first moved in and tried to introduce himself to people non-verbally but then he realized that in real life there are no text boxes. This forced him to talk and eventually talking became a normal thing for Red)
14. R/Red reveals the truth about the consoles as life support
(11, 12, 13, and 14 didn't make the cut and never made it into the published story)
15. Gold is given the choice to use a new copy of Pokémon Silver or to have a chance to revert to his old form
(There is no explanation of how they got to this conclusion. It literally goes from "the game is life support and you die without it" to "without the game you can have your limbs again")
16. Gold asks (name) if she likes him and if she would still like him if he changed. (Name) says she likes Gold for Gold, not for his appearance
17. Steven and Glitchy joke around, asking when the wedding will be. Gold and (name) reply "after your wedding"

Part 3: things that changed
- Cherry, (name)'s parents, other creepypastas, and the Hooded Man were all added in as characters
- the reason Red doesn't speak was changed to make more sense
- (name)'s GameBoy from the original version was removed entirely and instead was swapped to be Gold's GameBoy
- (name) isn't as suicidal in the original, only trying to avoid her home
- the original version had (name) living with the pokepastas from a very early point in the story... very different from the published version
- finally, while (name) and Gold end up liking each other in both versions, the original version had them like each other a lot faster than in the published version. I'm glad I changed the story to have the two get closer in a more natural way/ as friends before they developed feelings.

There are a few things I probably didn't mention but that's about it for the original version of GGC.
