46. Difficult situation

The girls left after staying for sometime. Virat didn't want them to leave but they promised to comeback next day. Virat slept for sometime as he was tired now.

After sometime Mahi entered the room and saw him awake,

"How do you feel Cheeku? Any pain?" asked Mahi sitting beside him.

"Body is aching but bearable pain hai" answered Virat and noticed that Mahi excused himself and went out of the room.

He could see through that small window them talking amongst themselves and Ab, even Faf was there.

He rested his head on the headboard feeling so out of place. He felt like he didn't know anyone anymore.

Mahi and Rohit came in the room. They adjusted the pillow behind his back.

Mahi looked at Rohit who was standing near the bed. Rohit gestures him to begin the conversation.
But Mahi gestures opposite. This goes on for a while.

"What the hell has happened that u need permission to talk with me? Or say anything to me? Why everything is so awkward? I really don't like this! Mountain of secrets u all have.. which can't be talked with me apparently! Do one thing go out and decide what should be done and comeback when you are my old Ro and Mahi bhai" said Virat seeing the eye gestures between them.

"Vi.. what are you saying?" Rohit asked shocked to see that reaction.

"What am I saying? You have been so distant Ro! I need you here by my side but you are not there. You were crying so much that u passed out and i don't even know the reason.. do u know how helpless I feel? No useless I feel now as a friend! It feels like I am handicapped in a way!" Virat said being frustrated for a while now.

They both were shocked to hear that. They recovered as they noticed Virat was breathing heavily than normal. Mahi offered him water and calmed him down a bit.

"Look Vi.. it's nothing like this okay! We just don't want you to stress! We have got u back like from really tough and difficult situation. And now we got you back with us, we don't wanna loose you again!" Rohit said holding his hand.

"You got me back Ro! But what about me? When will I get my Ro and Mahi bhai? U both are behaving so weird that I feel that I don't belong here" Virat said with tears in his eyes.

"Cheeku.." Mahi began seeing so tears in his eyes.

"No bhai.. don't explain me! You both go out and decide what you are gonna do. Comeback inside when I have my Ro and my Mahi bhai back! Till then I don't want to talk to you" Virat said laying on his bed and turning to his side as his back was facing them.

They both got defeated by that kind of response from Virat. They went outside to find Ab and Faf.

"What happened?" Faf asked seeing their sad faces.

"Rohit" Ab called softly and it did the work. Rohit explained how Virat is upset with them.

"You both sit here. Let him take some time! We can't blame him to feel like this. It's natural! And it's vk he is emotional when it comes to you both" Faf said softly handing them coffee.

Ab went inside to see Virat laying on his bed and silently staring outside the window. He saw a lone tear tickled down his cheek. He sat beside him and wiped that tear gaining his attention.

"How are you biscuit?" Ab asked softly.

"What do you think biscotti? I know u know everything what I said to them" Virat said in a low voice.

"Biscuit, you want to know everything right?" Ab asked holding his hand.

"It's not about knowing everything Ab, it's about everyone's behaviour specially Mahi bhai and Ro. And to some extent you too. I don't like this! U know it, this thing is very important for me about how people I love behave with me" said Virat.

"I know I understand biscuit. See the thing is Doctors told us that we should not stress you as your vitals are still fluctuating. For starting I can tell you is you had brain surgery which was life threatening, there was a clot in ur brain. Which is why Rohit or MS are behaving very differently with you. And differently by which I mean  not that their love is different but they are cautiously taking efforts to not cause u any stress" ab explained him softly.

Virat was surprised and shocked to know that he had a surgery. And it was life threatening.

"Just think for a while that if God forbid anything similar would have happened with Rohit or MS you would have reacted in same way. Take care Biscuit! Tell us once u are ready to talk, okay? We are outside only not going anywhere leaving you." Ab said softly caressing his head and left the room.

Virat listened everything carefully what Ab said.
