38. Revelations - II

Before Mahi could cut his whole palm he started speaking,

"To start with me and my guys first troubled virat mentally. We used to do blank calls at night to him. Then following that we started to threaten him about his wife and daughter. He didn't believe us Ofcourse but he did increase security around them" Omar Zadar said groaning in pain with every word as he has lost blood.

Rohit, Jaddu remembered how Virat was very paranoid before he took the break.

Flashback,

Rohit had got up to drink water and noticed Virat was not there. He found him sitting in the balcony.

"Why are you awake at 3 am Vi?" He asked worriedly seeing him tensed.

"nothing I just couldn't get any sleep", He said staring at Anushka, him and Vamu picture on his phone.

Rohit sat beside him, "are u missing them? It's okay u can call in morning Na!"

"but Ro I really want to talk to Nushkie now", He said being tensed.

Rohit kept hand on his shoulder, "but Vi.. she must have been tired whole day and she must be sleeping! It is not easy to handle child and work both. Kya hua hai? Kal subhe kar Lena call!" , He said softly not wanting to joke seeing his serious and tensed face.

"nahi aise hi!" Virat said.

Next morning!

Jaddu who came in their room saw Virat pacing in the room and Rohit seemed to be in the bathroom.

"Jaddu yeh Dekh na Nushkie call pick nahi kar rahi? Is she okay? Is my Princess okay? Vamu? What if something happened to her? Oh god! I should go to her!" He said worriedly to Jaddu who was surprised to see him panicked and tensed.

On any other day Jaddu would have teased him how he sounded like a child at that time but seeing his tensed face he said, "veer! Relax! What's wrong suddenly?"

Rohit came out of the bathroom only to see Jaddu trying to calm Virat who was sweating profusely.

Virat who was very close to tears said again, "Jaddu but Nushkie is not picking my call?"

Rohit said softly, "calm down Vi!"

Before Virat could say something his phone rang.

"Nushkie are u okay? Is vami okay? Ha? Why were u not picking my call?"

Jaddu and Rohit exchanged looks at that not understanding why Virat was so paranoid all of a sudden.

Flashback end.

"Then, he increased security around them. We started blackmailing with Mahi's family, Rohit's family and all others. He did the same as he did with his family. Increased security without you all knowing it. But we were happy that he was paranoid with that calls. And it started affecting his game" He said continuing the story.

Jaddu punched him not able to control it anymore.

"Stop torturing him for godsake! I want to know everything. We don't want him to die before we know the whole thing" Rohit said being frustrated.

Ab kept his hand on Rohit's shoulder to calm him down. Not the situation but Ash, Jaddu, Bhuvi raised eyebrows and smirked at Ro seeing that who just wished to hide his face at that moment.

"What makes u think I will tell you? I know anyway I will die whether it's here or in police custody so why don't I take a moment of joy seeing ur helplessness. I already did when Virat was screaming your and MS name. After a while he got so tired that he was numb with pain" Omar said smirking.

Rohit just left the room hearing that. Ab followed him.

"Torture him as much as you want! He has given electric shocks to our Vi! Jaddu make sure he pays. Record his screams" Mahi said getting up and giving him the knife.

"U okay" ab asked Rohit who was leaning onto the car calming himself down.

"Ya let's go to Vi" he said, listening that Ab was worried about Rohit as he didn't say anything.

"Jassi how is Vi? Any update?" Rohit asked as he saw Jassi sitting outside.

"He is okay, they will shift him in room in 10 mins"

"Then why are you crying?" Rohit asked softly seeing his tears.

"Sab aye the bhai.. KL, Hardik.. wo toh unke sath argument ho gayi", he said wiping his tears.

"And you are again blaming urself?" Rohit asked putting his arm around him.

"It's hard not to", Jassi said looking down, "virat bhai did this to save my career nahi karte toh he would be safe. kya hi karu iss career jisme wo nahi hai", he said and tears making way again.

Rohit sighed knowing there is no way he could convince him. It's been months that this boy was blaming himself. Only Virat could make him understand now.
