37. Lets begin

It had been three hours the surgery was going on. Mahi and Ab had sent everyone home. Only Rohit, Ab, Mahi, Anushka and Ritika were staying at the hospital now. Mahi requested Anushka too even though he knew that she will never leave. Ritika stayed with her as she knew Anushka needed her at that moment.

Finally after 5 hours Doctor came out and Mahi rushed to him followed by others.

"How is he?" Asked Mahi keeping his fingers crossed like everyone had seeing Ritika do it.

"The operation was successful. About Virat we would be able to tell once he wakes up. Which will not be anytime soon. It may take 12-15 hours for him to wake up. For now I can just assure you he is out of danger" doctor informed them to which everyone took a sigh of relief knowing that Virat was out of danger.

"Can we meet him?" Ab asked this time.

"In about a hour or so you can. I will have nurse inform you about that. Now if you will excuse me" Doctor said and left to his cabin.

"He is.. he is out of danger" Anushka whispered folding her hands and praying, thanking the God. Ritika hugged her to which Anushka shed some tears of relief.

Rohit also side hugged her, "told you that idiot will not leave Sharma siblings or anyone for that matter so soon" he said and Anushka chuckled amidst tears.

"Anushka, Ritika you both go home and take rest now. Before you object, let me tell you Virat is not gonna wake up for 10 hours minimum. Have some sleep, bring some food for us, can you do that? I am bored with hospital food kiddos!" Said Mahi knowing this will make them go home. And as expected they agreed.

"Please inform us when he wakes up or anything happens" Ritika said to Rohit, Ab and Mahi bhai, to which they assured them that they will.

Once Ritika and Anushka was out of sight,

"We have one hour, let's go and punish that culprit which Rohit has already done. I know it Rohit and I am not angry" Mahi said looking at Rohit's and Ab's shocked faces.

"Call the boys and Let's give him hell. So that we finish that chapter once and for all. I don't want anything to affect Cheeku now. The team problems or whatever miscommunication is there between us we will solve them when Cheeku gets okay. Now, let's show him what happens when someone messes with our little brother" Mahi said with fire in his eyes. Rohit and Ab were in full support of that.

They called Jassi to stay at the hospital not wanting to involve him in the mess. Remaining all the seniors of ICT, Maxwell, Faf, Jos, Kane, stoinis, Marnus reached there with their cricket bats as informed by Rohit and Ab.

They reached the place. Mahi had already spoke to Police officers and apologised to what happened with them. Also explained why it happened.

"Oh the whole team is here! This should be fun" Omar said smirking evilly.

Mahi sat in front of him. Rohit handed him the knife. Mahi took the knife and put a big scratch on his hand causing him to scream and bleed heavily.

"So Omar Zadar begin from the start, what all have you done and how our brother, my Cheeku has suffered. The more time you take the more cuts there will be" said Mahi dangerously.

Except Rohit everyone specially foreign players was shocked to see MS like that. But then it was matter of his little brother.

"This is illegal" He screamed in agony as Mahi pierced knife in his hand again.

"Look who is talking" Rohit laughed at his state.

"Now! Let's begin" Mahi said holding knife again.

Hardik, KL, Rishabh and other juniors had come to the hospital. They saw Jassi sitting there.

"What are you all doing here?" Jassi asked seeing them.

"Umm we came to meet Virat" KL said, really wanting to see Virat once.

"No need, when he needed you guys.. you were not there! You didn't trust him"

"We were scared for you Jassi. Your name was being dragged. Your career was getting.." hardik said trying to make him understand.

"The career which Virat bhai saved. He saved me hardik when will you get this in ur head" Jassi said.

"But at that time we didn't think Jassi, we could not see you like that and we ended up hurting Virat" KL said being guilty.

"Now go, he doesn't need to get hurt anymore" Jassi said.

"Please ek baar dekhne do" Kuldeep said and they just saw him from the small glass window.

Their heart aches seeing Virat. They were feeling so guilty for misunderstanding their big brother because they could not see Jassi like that who was not in right state after his name was popped in that whole mess. Jassi was having panic attacks from the time Virat was gone and the juniors blamed Virat for that. Their love for Jassi turned blind and they hated their brother who did all this only to protect their friend. They forgot that who they call their friend was "innocent kid Jassi" to "Virat bhaiya" first and then he was Jassi to them.
