7. Feeling helpless

After one hour Rohit woke up. He looked at his other side of the bed, Virat was not there.

'Virat', he called but there was no response.

He got up from the bed to the hall and looked everywhere but Virat was nowhere to be found. 'Where did he go?', thought Ro worriedly.

Rohit went outside in the lawn, checked back of the house, but he was not there. Virat didn't have any phone, how will he contact him now.

Rohit went inside the house, grabbed his phone. He was about to dial a number for help then he noticed the cupboard was empty.

The jackets, shirts whatever Virat had was not present. His medication and reports were on the table. But clothes and bag were not there.

Rohit- oh god! Where do this boy go? What should I do?

Rohit took his phone and went outside to look for him. He searched nearby. He could not find him anywhere.

Ab- yes Rohit?

Ro- AB! I don't where Virat went.. I am searching for him but I don't where to find him. He didn't have phone on him, how do I call him? How do I find him? AB I lost him again.. I lost..

Ab- Rohit, Rohit.. calm down please! You panicking at this point is not gonna help it. I will try my contacts and will help find him.. don't worry! First can you tell me if something happened because of which he might have taken this step?

Rohit thought about the allergy incident and Virat's worried face. He shared it with AB.

Rohit- AB he might have got upset because of that.

Ab- okay then let me check nearby stations and everything.. will call you once I find anything! don't worry, you stay at the house, he may come back!

Rohit- okay.

He went in the house and sat there with his head buried in his hands.

'I cannot believe that I asked Ab.. who I once called as SA alien! And I hated him, means not literal hate but yes hate the closeness with Vi.. And now this idiot Vi is making me call him and ask for help. Only you! Vi, only you can make me do anything for you! Idiot comeback please.. I will really die this time without you!'

Soon his thoughts were broken by the door being opened, he literally ran to check.

Virat was there!

Rohit tightly engulfed him in a hug. Virat got surprised by it. He hugged him back not with same intensity but it just felt wrong not to do it.

Rohit- you moron! idiot! where the hell did you disappear like that?

He yelled and texted AB that Virat was back, then got back to look at Virat who was standing there.

Rohit- do you have any idea how worried I was? why didnt you tell me where you were going? And why did you take your clothes? where did you go? Answer!

Virat- I just went for a walk!

Rohit- with pile of clothes, where they bored in the cupboard?
He added sarcastically.

Virat- sorry for worrying you!

Rohit- don't be sorry, just tell me where you went? And why?

Virat- Rohit you should not stay with me! I don't remember a single thing and that caused you so much pain and trouble!
So please go! I will manage!
I went to go away from here but I have no idea where to go so I can back here!
So please go from here, back to your family and friends.

He said holding his head with one hand and was really furious at himself that he didn't remember anything.

Rohit was surprised to see his care for him. Even if doesn't remember anything, his caring nature remains the same.
