"What? What are you saying bhai? Oct 2023 how is that possible?" Virat asked shockingly as he came to know the date.

Mahi held his hand to calm him down and asked him softly, "what's the last date or month you remember Cheeku?"

"March 2023" said Virat not understanding anything.

Mahi sighed knowing that it's gonna be so difficult to make him understand what had happened. And knowing Cheeku.. he knows that he was gonna blame himself for all this and will have immense guilt of it.

"Bhai.. what's going on? 7 months gap?? How? What happened all this time? Why can't I remember? Thank god... I remember u and Ro bhai.."

Virat said panicking and relieved at the same time.. he never felt this confused in his whole life...

Mahi didn't know how to say to him that Virat did forget him and Rohit.. for those 2 months which felt like 2 years to them when they would see that unrecognised look on his face.., no love and warmth in his eyes.. difference in his voice.. how painful that was!!

"Cheeku I will tell u everything.. for now u need to sleep it's late!! Tomorrow morning will be better than today okay... Rohit will also be okay!! For now get some sleep"

Mahi said patting his head and practically putting him to sleep.. "please don't leave my side when I wake up" Virat mumbled half sleepy already.

"I will not" Mahi said holding his hand.

Next morning,

It was Mahi who woke up first and got freshened up. He went to speak to Doctor regarding the progress of Virat after he noticed both Virat and Rohit were sleeping.

After 15 mins Rohit woke up feeling a little better. He can't even remember when he had such a good sleep. He could not sleep or rest himself more than 3-4 hours since everything happened which took a toll on him. Once he was fully awake he noticed it was the hospital bed.

He immediately got up remembering Virat was in hospital. He rushed to his side only to see him sleeping soundly. The wires were still attached, machine was still beeping to indicate that he was recovering.

Ro's pov seeing Virat on the bed:

Is he okay? Did he really remember everything? Did he said those incidents or I was imagining it. Vi, kitna pareshaan karega yaar.. thik ho ja please jaldi se aur handle nahi ho Raha mujh se ab Akele!!

He caressed Virat's hair once and went to freshen up.

"how do you feel now?" Ab asked entering the room with breakfast and at the same time Rohit came out of the bathroom.

"lot better! what had happened exactly?" Rohit asked not recollecting what had happened.

Ab arranged breakfast on the table and asked him to sit and have it.

"Virat answered ur questions which you asked to test if he remembers us.. then we all got emotional, u cried and passed out when you hugged MS.. doctor said that proper sleep and meals are important.. you were exhausted" Ab answered his question when he started eating.

"he remembers, right?" Rohit asked being scared.

"Ya he does", Ab answered honestly.

Rohit took a sigh of relief but instead food got stuck in his throat and he started coughing badly. Ab rubbed his back and helped him drink water.

Virat woke up and saw the sight infront of him again.. Ab was rubbing Rohit's back with one hand and helping him to drink water with other.

"what the fuck is happening? I am actually gone crazy!" Virat said to himself seeing Ab and Rohit together yet again!!

"did I travel somewhere? I have certainly lost 6 months or so in my mind.. then ab and Ro together where Ab is behaving like he behaves with me... they are bonding!! I am really in another universe for sure" he thought seeing them together where ab was asking Ro whether he was okay or not.

Virat decided to listen to them.. keeping his eyes closed..

"Thanks Ab" Rohit said genuinely.

Virat pov : "Thanks and Ro.. wo bhi Ab ko!! How?? How is this possible! Hey bhagwaan yeh kya chal raha hai.."

"I think we are past that Stage Rohit, formality !! U don't need to thank me!! I told u.. u can always talk to me about anything" Ab said softly.

Virat pov : "Past that stage... what the hell!! Talk about Anything... what's going on.. Hayee yeh sun ke mai mar na jaun"

"I know that.. but still thank you!! U have been really my support in all this! I don't know if I would be able to handle myself if u were not there" Rohit said honestly.

Virat's pov : "Oh my god! What's all this.. Rohit is saying this and in this tone softly to Ab?? What's happening!! Bhagwanji... kya chal raha hai yeh! I am gonna get a full blown headache or heart attack now!! Why can't I remember anything?"

Now he was so frustrated that he thrashed his arm in frustration knocking out the medicines on the side table and his drips of his hand!!

Listening to that noise Rohit and Ab rushed to him..

"What's wrong Vi? Are u okay? Do u need something?" Ro asked as Virat opened his eyes.

"Let me call doctor his hand is bleeding!!" Ab said and Rohit nodded while Virat was hell confused.
