Kiara pov:I went up to Clara and Kobo and gathered them around. I had to discipline them a little bit; they can't just go around and make Calli suffer just because I'm around.

"Clara, Kobo, don't be mean to Calli when I'm gone!" I said strictly, making sure they heard me loud and clear.

The two of them nodded, remaining silent, knowing that if they were to talk over me, that would lead to something not ideal for them.

"Kobo, please stop picking on Clara, okay?" I asked.

"Yes, Mama," Kobo said.

"Clara, share with Kobo. Not all the toys are meant for you."

"We're sorry, Mama," Clara and Kobo said in unison.

I looked at them and sighed sharply. I couldn't stay mad at them, but I can't just let the two of them do as they please because Calli and I are the only ones that lose if we raise them to be too spoiled.

"Promise me you will try to change for the better," I said.

"We promise!" Kobo and Clara stated

"Alright, now what do you want me to do?" I asked

"Can you read us a Christmas story, Mama?" Kobo asked

"A Christmas story..." I said I was confused.

"Yeah, it's December after all!" Kobo said

"Wait, wasn't it Mumei's birthday like three or fou-?" I decided to cut myself off and just go with it.

"Yeah, it's December!" I said

"No, it isn't..." Clara said, pointing out the obvious.

"I know it isn't, but you need to go along with it." I whispered into her ear.

"Why is that?" Clara answered back.

"Remember to be nicer to Kobo." I stated

"Oh right, I almost forgot. It is, um, December!" Clara said unconvincingly.

"Wait, really, I just made that shitup!" Kobo laughed

"Kobo!" I was in shock at the foul language that just came out of her mouth.

"Daddy taught it to me!" Kobo said

I didn't want to believe that Calli taught it to her, but she 100% said it in front of Kobo after all our talks about not swearing in front of our children. Calli was so infuriating sometimes.

My thoughts were broken by Kobo, who handed me a book. "Eh, this is in German." I stated

"Yes, read it!" Kobo stated

"You wouldn't understand!" I said back

"Yes, I would, because if Mommy knows German, then I do!" Kobo said

Okay, say one German word, then... I stated

Kobo looked at me and began to sweat as she opened her mouth and said, "Bonjour!" Kobo spoke loudly with confidence as I face palmed.

"That's French..." I commented

"No, it's a type of German you don't know!" Kobo stated

"Get me an English book, Clara," I sighed as my other daughter graciously handed one to me.

"Ahem!" I said as I cleared my throat getting both their undevided attentioms

I began to read the book both of the listening intently they seriously were angels I didn't know what Calli was afraid of

While I was reading I was shocked to hear that Kobo had already fallen asleep I sighed as I picked her up and placed her on the couch putting a blanket onto her

"She'll be mad if I put her into her bed" I said

"Why?" Clara asked

"She'll think I moved her so I wouldn't have to read the rest of the story" I said

"Then wake her up!" Clara stated

"No, if we don't She'll think I finished the story and I won't actually have to read the rest" I laughed

Kobo began to snore and one of the noises she made was loud and nasley so much so that she shot awake as she heard the noise

"Uahhhhh!" Kobo said as she shot out upwards

"Finish the story!" She cried

"Alright..." I said in shock as I didn't expect her to wake up

I finished the story and as I read the last word I gazed up seeing that both Kobo and Clara had fallen asleep well Clara more so dozed off any slight movement would wake her slumber

"Let's not wake her..." I mumbled to myself quietly as I stood up and walked towards the kitchen since I had to do all the dishes Calli left

Every time my hands touched the water they sizzled I was afraid that it would wake Clara and Kobo but it didn't seem to I accidentally dropped one of the plates and luckily it didn't shatter or wake the kids

My hands usually didn't react to water this way but sometimes my body will just act like pure fire it doesn't make much sense but I don't think it's supposed to do so

I genuinely want to understand my body more since I don't really understand what my body is like

I wondered if my mom could teach me she should be fine now I never really called to find out but maybe I should I'll wait until after we see Mama Mori though since I don't want to overload my self with mothers

I wondered how Calli was doing honestly I probably should have gone since I'm better at words than Calli

Calli is really good at saying things in ways that weren't the way she intended I didn't get how somone could be so clumsy but it's cute I can easily make her fall for my verbal traps

If I want to tell people how cute she is I can use cartoon logic and make her say the opposite of what she intended its honestly so cute and funny but inconvenient when we actaully need to have serious conversation

It's not as if Calli is going to run into Mumei and peeve her or anything so it's all fine I probably have nothing to worry about

Then again I shouldn't trust my whim on anything I know that from when Calli betrayed my love long ago

"Nah I'm sure it's fine" I sighed as I walked over to Clara and Kobo holding them close and slowly drifting to sleep
