Reine pov: Chloe had dropped from the vents on top of Mumei. I couldn't see her face, but I felt a dark, eerie aura coming from her.
I gulped, afraid of what was going to happen.
"Chloe, be careful." Mumei stated
"Eh!?" Chloe said she was shocked and thought Mumei was going to be livid.
"Aren't you mad?" Kiara asked
"Nope, I've ascended past that..." Mumei said
I could tell she was at least peeved, but that was to be expected. Chloe looked up before sighing in relief.
"So I wasn't followed," Chloe said in relief.
"Reine, I need you to call Ollie now." Mumei asked
"Why?" I questioned yet again.
"She's looking for someone too." Mumei said
Wait, how would she know that? Has she really become an omnipotent being? Mumei was an enigma, and we needed to learn more about her.
"Call her," Mumei commanded.
I knew Kiara needed to call Ollie as well, so first I called her.
"Ello?" Ollie said
"Yeah, I need something, babe," I said coldly.
"What?" Ollie asked lovingly.
"Pekora-senpai's phone number... I said
"Eh? Are you talking to other girls now?" Ollie asked
"No, this is for Kiara!" I yelled
"Oh okay!" Ollie said
She quickly gave me the number, which I relayed to Kiara.
"Ollie work!" Moona yelled
"Okay Jeez!" Ollie yelled
"Can you put Moona-senpai on the phone?" I asked.
"Yeah, how come?" Ollie asked
"She's more interesting," I teased.
She was silent for about a minute.
"Babe, just give her the phone." "I didn't mean it!" I yelled
"Fine!" Ollie pouted
She handed the phone to Moona-senpai, so I had to ask my question fast.
"What are you doing?" I questioned
"Training your girlfriend... with less than success" Moona-senpai growled
"You don't have to be mad." I said
"I could never be mad at you," Moona stated.
"Anyways, Moona-senpai, I need to ask you something," I said.
"What is it?" Moona-senpai asked
"I need to ask if Ollie needs to find someone," I said.
"Huh?" Moona-senpai said
"Yeah, she needs to find Matsuri-senpai." Moona-senpai explained
"Really?" I said, glaring at Mumei.
How did she know this? She really did have future sight or something. I needed to figure this out.
"Why didn't you just ask Ollie?" Moona-senpai asked
"That is a fair question; I don't know," I said.
I honestly don't know why I didn't just ask Ollie; maybe because I don't want her to think I need to help her because I know she may want to do things by herself.
"I know you need to ask me something else." Moona-senpai stated
"Yeah, I do!" I said
"What is it?" Moona-senpai asked
"Do you have a way to track us?" I questioned
Moona-senpai pondered something for a few seconds, then I heard footsteps; she must have walked over to Astel because I heard him scream as she came back.
"Tell me if you hear beeping," Moona-senpai said.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
I looked down and noticed something was attached to my clothes; it was like a miniature tracking device.
"So Astel did plant things on you..." Moona-senpai growled
"We'll be there in about fifteen minutes." Moona-senpai stated
"Can you be ready to fight?" I asked
"Hmm, sure, why not?" Moona-senpai stated.
"Okay, that would be good. Bring Iofi-senpai and Risu-senpai too."
"Why wouldn't I bring them?" Moona-senpai asked
"Oh well, I thought... nevermind," I said.
"Bye!" Moona-senpai said
"Bye Senpai!" I said back
As soon as I hung up and looked behind me, I noticed Iroha was there with a knife in hand, ready to slice me up. Kiara and Mumei flew in, blocking her knife with their swords and daggers.
"Zeta, I'm counting on you!" Mumei suddenly said as she grabbed Kiara and jumped back.
Zeta came in and kicked Iroha away while the other her and Kaela watched.
"Mumei-senpai, you can go!" Zeta yelled, but Mumei shook her head.
"Not until you win," Mumei-senpai stated.
"Look, I have no time to waste here!" Iroha yelled
"You almost killed me!" I yelled
"Yes, I'm sorry. I'd have to commit seppuku after that because I wouldn't be able to face Lui," Iroha stated.
"You want to stop Lui, but you have the wrong idea!" Mumei said
"I have the wrong idea." Mumei-senpai?" Iroha laughed
"I think you do," Mumei scoffed.
"I need my katana back, so I'll rip it from Chloe's hands even if I have to cut them off," Iroha yelled.
"How dramatic..." Chloe stated
Mumei walked over to Chloe, chopped her neck to knock her out, and picked her up.
"We need to go, so Zeta chop chop!" Mumei yelled
"Fine, I'll fight!" Zeta stated
Zeta lunged forward to hit Iroha, but when she was about an inch away from her, she vanished. Mumei was suddenly where Zeta once stood.
"What Mumei-senpai!?" Zeta said she was confused.
"So this is what Omega can do?" Mumei laughed
She was definitely weakened, but she was still so powerful that she clashed with Iroha again, this time shattering her opponent's weapon, and she slashed into her chest, but there was no blood.
Normally that would be lethal, but despite the cut, no blood exited Iroha, and she didn't seem like she was in a lot of pain.
Mumei seemed calm, oddly so, as if she let go of all her worry, doubt, and self-loathing. She knew who she was and what she wanted to be.
Mumei was emotionless, yet so full of emotion that I could read her, yet not fully understand her. She is an inigma.
Iroha tried to attack back, but Mumei circled around and caught her in a submission hold, forcing her to stop moving.
"Zeta tie her up," Mumei said.
"Yes Mumei-senpai!" Zeta said
I wanted to know what that was: did she perfect that technique? Has she reached perfect zen? I needed to know
I noticed that Zeta had not only switched with Mumei but was also holding Chloe.
I looked at Kiara and Mumei and began to wonder if I was strong.
