Calli pov: "Why can I sense Bae in the mortal realm?" I asked Kiara

"You noticed it too?" Kiara said

"Yeah, it makes no sense...." I said as I yanked out a present for my mother since it's been a while since I've seen her.

"Want to pick her up?" Kiara asked

"Maybe in a few," I said.

"A few what hours? minutes? seconds?" Kiara asked

"Don't be a smartass." I growled quietly as I kissed her forehead.

"It was a genuine question!" Kiara stated

"Was it really, though?" I asked.

"Not really," Kiara giggled.

"I know you meant in a few minutes," Kiara explained.

"It seems that Irys is with her," I said.

"Oh, Irys is there, maybe she should come too!" Kiara said

"I don't know if my mother would be able to handle both of her daughters being married," I said.

"Maybe she would!" Kiara said

"Eh?" I sighed, questioning her optimistic look on this

She acts like she knows how my mother would react to this; they are close, but how would she know how my mother feels? I feel as if Kiara is just being herself and being too optimistic about this; she is really happy about this.

"Maybe we'll take Irys...." I said

"We will take Irys," Kiara said.

"I don't know..." I said

"Why not?" Kiara asked

"Why would I know?" I questioned

"Because you are their sister," Kiara stated.

"That is both a fair point and a flawed one," I sighed.

"How is it flawed!?" Kiara asked

"You...ugh nevermind!" I said

"Yeah, let's not argue," Kiara said.

"I want to argue!" I said

"Yes, you were." Kiara said, "And you are now too." She added

"Am I really arguing?" I asked

"Yes...." Kiara sighed

"I'm sorry!" I yelled

"Just call your mother!" Kiara said

"Actually, let's go see if Bae wants to come first," I said.

"Yeah, that makes sense, but how will we get there?" Kiara asked

"You can fly?" Calli said

"No, I mean, we have Kobo and Clara, so we both can't go." Kiara stared

"Don't leave me alone with them!" I said it loudly.

"Calli I guess you can go. Kiara said

"Look, Kobo and Clara like you better anyways," I said.

"Then go, you probably have like ten minutes since we only have until Mumei finishes her date," Kiara said.

I got up and ran out of the room, running out the door, realizing as soon as I was too far away that I had no clue where to go, so I tracked Bae by her energy.

I got to the general vicinity that she and Irys were at and began to look around; they couldn't have gotten far since they aren't too far from Mumei and Fauna, and we assume they are waiting for them to get done presumably to go back to council.

But why don't they just call Sana and go back that way? That would be faster, but according to Kiara Bae, she probably shouldn't be out, so that may be why, but I feel like Mumei would be worse than Sana.

Sana would probably step on you to punish you, and Munei would skin you alive. I would rather have the Sana punishment, who wouldn't anyways.

I managed to find Bae, so I approached her with my scythe in hand.

"Hey Bae!" I said

"Ep-eeeep-eeep!" Bae yelled in terror.

"It's your sister, why are you afraid?" Irys sighed

"My question is, what the fuck is that she screamed?" I asked

"You wouldn't understand!" Bae stated pouting a tiny bit and got no reason

"I've screamed before—that was ridiculous!" I laughed

"Hey, I've already been mocked enough!" Bae yelled

"Eh, are we doing this again?" Irys asked

"Doing what?" Bae and I asked in unison.

"J-just ignore me..." Irys commented

"I want to know if you want to come to the underworld with me, Kiara, Clara, and Kobo to see our mom!" I said

"Does she know about this yet?" Bae questioned

"No, I didn't ask yet!" I said Bae just glared at me.

"You really need to..." Bae sighed

"Is that a yes or a no?" I asked

"Yes if we can go, no if not," Bae said.

"Does Irys want to come too?" I asked

"If Bae goes, go," Irys said.

"Alright, it's settled, then we set out at dawn!" I cheered

"What?" Bae and Irys said in unison

"That was supposed to be funny...." I said

"You aren't funny." Bae sighed

"I will literally slice you in half." I commented

"Jeez, stop with the hostility!" Bae said

"Stop mocking me then, rat!" I hissed Bae got the picture immediately and shut up.

"Okay, it's time to make the phone call," I said.

"Wait, we really aren't going to just forget for like a month?" Irys said

"What?" Bae and I asked in unison once again.

"Once again, ignore me, please." Irys said quietly

I called my mother, and it rang a bunch of times, but no one picked up, which was odd at this hour -- actually it wasn't, it was like 2 in the morning in the underworld -- actually I don't know.

I never understood how time worked down there at all. "You try calling Bae," I said.

"Uhm... I don't know her number," Bae said.

"You don't!?" I said I was confused.

"No, I never have, and why would I?" Bae asked

"So you can visit the woman that gave birth to you?" I said I was confused.

"Well, she never gave it to me!" Bae said

"I'm 100 percent sure she did. You just were being an angry, angsty child and didn't listen," I said.

"She still is an angry, angsty child," Irys said.

"Irys!" Bae shouted

"Okay, I'll call Mama Mori," Irys said.

"Wait, how do you have her number?" I asked

"That's because, well, that's a story for when you're older," Irys said.

"Wait, did you--" I was cut off by my phone ringing; it was our mother.

"What a coincidence," I said as I picked it up.
