"So," I spoke in a shaky voice. "I'm eleven weeks pregnant"...
"You told anyone yet." He muttered, eyeing me.
I shook my head, "no."
He nodded, looking down at his shoes. He licked his lips perking up at me, "you happy?" He murmured.
I nodded, glimpsing at him through my eyelashes. "I am but I'm nervous. I-i." I sight, getting hindered by myself. "Kemar I think we should just leave." I gulped as I walked over to the ledge by the window.
His face twisted, "watchu' mean leave?"
"We can't have a baby in this environment. It was easy before, to just say we can work around the conflict and danger, and even now it's dangerous to play the long game until we're in charge. We can't do that."
"Your family would never physically hurt you and my family would never physically harm me, so-" I caught sight of him, "we can just leave. Have our own life, and everyone we love that does understand will be on board."
I waited for him to respond. His face wavered before he spoke, "I- I just think we can still try. But if it comes down to that, we will do it."
"Okay," muttered, playing with my lip. He started me down. The tension in the room was very thick, it's been like that since everything happened. "come here, Brianna. Gimme a kiss."
I scrunched my face looking up at him, "ion know where ya' lips been." His smile dropped making me laugh. I quickly slid over to him in my socks, "I'm sorry, my bad lil nigga."
He quickly grabbed me by my neck, "Stop playing with me, I'll drag ya lil ass by ya weave." I rolled my eyes, "Put some respect on it."
"My bad G. Come here, for real though."
"Watchu' tryna do?" I mumbled wrapping my arms around his stomach. Leaning my chin against his chest. His head dropped onto mine, "everything and more."
"Damn bruh, you really carrying my child. We about to have a baby girl and shit. This means I don't have to wear a condom anymore?"
I pushed him away from me laughing, "boy what the hell. And you might want to look over that picture again."
