"Please just trust me, I can't tell you how I knew, but the whole thing was a set up." My father glanced towards my uncle, who was leaning against my dresser. "Whatchu think?" I rolled my eyes while watching them.
My uncle looked over at me and said, "I don't know how she knew, but she was right? I say we just keep an eye on her." I blew out a breath, "Keep an eye on me? Both of you could've died yesterday. Are you discussing my punishment?" I looked at them in disbelief.
"Brianna, you're obviously getting yourself wrapped up in something you shouldn't be if you can't tell me how you knew." I could see where he was coming from, but I didn't think about how suspicious I would look after.
"But we can talk about it later, I can see how you scared you were." My father eyed me. "Get dressed. I'm taking you out. You need to get out the house for a bit."
"This gon' take long?" My dad asked, looking at the inspiration picture for my nails. I rolled my eyes walking into the nail salon, "How you decide to take me out, then complain before we start."
"I didn't complain. I asked a simple question."
"I AsKeD a SimPle qUeStIon."
"I'm taking ya ass home." He mumbled.
"No no no. I'm joking,"
After her Nail are Done

"I have a friend who is a boy." I mumbled.
He nodded as I paid for my nails. "You wanna get ya' lil hair done or something?" He stood up, sighing. I smiled, knowing he'd ask. "Actuallyyyyy, I wanna go somewhere else."
"Lord," he mumbled, being dramatic.
"Watchu' want, Brianna?"
A hour later
"A fuckin' puppy? I swear, I better not hear a scratch, a lick, a bark, or a huff out of this dog." He concluded, watching me happily bounce the grey puppy in my arms. I smiled big at my father, "so I can get it?!" He sighed, "yeah, Bri, hurry up damn."
"Oh my god, I got me a baby." I cheesed getting in the passenger seat. My father sat the freshly bought dog supplies in the trunk while I sat in the passenger seat running my hands along Sky's head and ears in awe.
"Hi Sky baby. You're so pretty." I smirked when she started licking my finger and smelling my hoodie.
