Lacey couldn't help but tug at the pink wig she wore on the top of her head, wanting nothing more than to turn back around and run away, but it was too late, Dani and Callum were on eitherside of her, also dressed up in costume as they walked up Ben's driveway, laughing about how shocked everyone would be when they walked in together.
"Dan, you look amazing! Blue is totally your next hair colour!" Sasha giggled, as she pulled Dani in for a hug, Ben coming into sight as he fist pumped Callum, saying that his costume wasn't going to win the costume competition, and that's when Ben's eyes landed on Lacey.
"Oh my god! Lace?" Ben shouted, pulling Lacey in for a hug, squashing the girl in the process, almost as if he was really trying to suffocate her. "What are you doing here?" Ben shouted, as he continued to squeeze the life out of the girl, making her cough slightly. "I really cant breath Chilly" Lacey laughed, as he finally let go of her, Sasha and Lauren bombarding the girl, hugging her next, as Jack and Declan appeared, running from the kitchen, drinks in both of their hands, trying not to spill anything over the floor, but being too excited to even stop running. "I fancied a Halloween party, and a little birdy told me that this was the best one" Lacey laughed, as the group finally let her go, allowing her to have her personal space back. "I just wish you would of said you was coming, i'd of made more of an effort" Ben laughed, as Lacey looked around at the decorations, it wasn't nothing too big, but it was something that Lacey didn't expect, cobwebs and ghosts hanging around everywhere, with masks tapped all around the room, fake blood trailed over the windows. "I'm just glad your here, like best surprise ever" Ben laughed, as he hugged the girl once last time, moving away, and the eye's she didn't really want to see landing on her.
"Hey" Lacey whispered, as Mason made his way over to the group. "I didn't know what all the shouting was" He mumbled, as he looked over at Lacey, giving her small smile. "You look great" Lacey laughed, as she looked over at him dressed as what she thought was a zombie, but she wasn't really sure what he was supposed to be. "Thanks" Mason stated, as his eyes began to dart around the room, Lacey assuming that he was looking for his girlfriend, she decided to follow Sasha and Lauren to a seated area, both of them passing her a glass of wine, as Lacey looked at it in her hand, wondering how she was going to get out of this one. "You not drinking or something? Has LA changed you?" Sasha laughed, as she watched Lacey place it back on the table. "No, I've just got an early flight in the morning, i'd rather be feeling up to it" Lacey smiled, trying her best to ensure that her lie seemed truthful, which seemed to work as the girls nodded their heads. "So, how's LA?" Lauren questioned, as Jack and Declan come to sit next to them all. "Honestly? It's kinda boring without you lot" Lacey laughed, as Declan laughed nodding his head. "Yeah, I am the entertainment of this group, I have to say it's not really the same without you here either" Declan smiled, as Lacey grinned at him. "It's just weird isn't it, like I thought i'd constantly be busy, constantly be doing something, but all I do when i'm not on stage is either write, or watch Netflix" Lacey laughed, as Jack nodded his head. "No boyfriend then?" He questioned with a smirk, as Lacey shook her head. "I'm happy how I am" Lacey forced a smile, as she saw Mason and Morgan out the corner of her eye, dancing together, or trying to get frisky with each other, Lacey hadn't really worked out which one.
"Lacey needs to sing a song before she fucking leavesss" Ben sang, clearly intoxicated by the alcohol everyone had been consuming, Lacey laughing her head, shaking it to say no, but what caught her eye was Mason looking over at the group, the same place his eyes had been wondering most of the night. "Please" Declan joins in, pleading with husbands, as Lacey looked around the group laughing, it was highly hilarious to watch them when you wasn't drinking, and Lacey couldn't help but laugh harder at the fact this used to be here once upon a time. "Okay, okay fine" Lacey mumbled, as she stood up, staying in the place she was stood, as Ben turned the music down, clapping his hands. "I don't even know what to sing" Lacey mumbled, as Jack laughed. "Sing anything, anything you like" he smiled, as Lacey nodded her head smiling at him. "Okay, erm" Lacey began to him, trying to her her pitch right.

"Okay that's it, I'm done" Lacey laughed, as the group around her clapped, egging her to continue. "Well, is that one of yours?" Mason questioned, as he walked over to the group, Morgan on his arm, holding onto him for dear life. "Erm yeah, that's one I wrote not so long back, it's called 'Waste' and you'll all get to hear it on my album that drops in December" Lacey smiled, as her eyes stayed firmly on Mason, as Morgan let's go of his arm, introducing herself to Lacey. "You're really pretty" Morgan stated, as Lacey smiled, looking at the ground. "Oh no, you're gorgeous, don't be silly!" Lacey smiled, trying to make friends, but all she could think about was the smirk that was on Masons face.
