I looked down at my phone, reading the time and checking my notifications.

"9:45, not as late as I thought." I muttered.

"Hey. I want attention too." Araceli said, flicking my phone.

I was caught off guard at her sudden action but smiled when I saw her looking at me.

"Yes Araceli, what would you like?"

"Your attention, obviously."

"I just did your hair a little while ago." I said, looking down at her.

"Okay? And? I still want attention."

"Well, what would you like to do then?"

"No idea. Just stop looking at your phone and look at me instead."
