She didn't know why she was feeling like this, her innocence was showing on a level she couldn't comprehend.

And it was screaming at me, practically begging for me to take it away from her.

As we walked into the boba shop I heard the bells ding.

"Good evening, how can I assist you tonight?" The cashier said quickly.

"Go and order, i'll be behind you." I said to her, whispering in her ear.

"Can I get a rainbow tea please." She said lightly.

"Yes you may, passion fruit or strawberry?"

"Passion fruit!" She said joyfully.

"And for you."

"I'll take a black tea, mango boba." I said, roughly.

"Anything else?"

"That should be all." I said.

"Alright, your total is $8.94."

I handed him my card and watched his coworker begin to make the drinks.

"Yay!" She said, her face lighting up as she watched the cat on the counter wave it's hand up and down.

She's pleased fairly easily, interesting..

The cashier slid the drinks over to us and handed us two straws.

"Have a goodnight."

"Yea. You too." I said, walking outta the store

She skipped towards the car, it was nice to see someone still so happy in this cruel ass world.

There's shitty people everywhere, i'm one of them.

"It's cold out here." She said, clearly shaking.

I was mad she was shaking from the cold and not me, but in due time it'll happen.

"My bad, I meant to open the car sooner." I said, unlocking it.

I watched her sit down in the seat and close the door before I could get to it.

I got in the car and sat in silence next to her.

"Sooo how's your drink?" She asked.
