"Oh hell yea." She said in response,"it was so fucking boring."

She got me to laugh a little, and that's all I needed.

The day slowly came to the end and we made it to our last class.

"Hey, do you wanna hit my place after school? Grab some food and hang out?" I asked, whispering in her ear.

"Sure, i'm down." She said twirling her pencil around her finger.

"Cool." I said in response.

I started to do my work and she kept sliding closer.

"A, B, D, C, C." She said, quietly.

"Hey, be careful you can get caught." I said, realizing she was tryna tell me the answers.

"It's fine, i'm okay with getting caught." She whispered.

"Risky hm? Since when did you start being so bold?" I asked.

"Oh shut up." She said chuckling.

"Okayyy." I said in response smiling back. at her.

The day ended and that was my cue to get home with her.

"Alright, up and at em." I said, holding my hand out to her.

"Aren't you just kind." She said, grabbing it.

I intertwined my fingers with hers and began to walk through the hallways again with her.

She latched herself onto my arm again as the people stared at me.

"It's okay." I whispered," Jealously is a bitch."

"Promise?"

"I promise."

We walked out of the doors and made our way to my car.

As always, I opened her door for her like I should.

I closed it and got on my side, watching jai stare at us with a death glare.

I flicked her off and began to buckle up and back out of the parking lot.

"She seems crazy." She whispered.

"She is." I responded.

I adjusted my seat and looked over at her. She was playing with the hem of her shirt.

She looked vaguely upset.

"Hey, what's wrong, talk to me." I said.

"I don't know, sometimes I overthink this stuff you know." She said," She's really really pretty, and I can't compare with that."

"Why are you saying that?" I asked.

"I don't know, I just know she's better than me at stuff.." Her voice trailed off.
