I pulled into her driveway, and texted her. Unsure if she had anyone home.

I saw her walk outside and smile at me.

"Hey Araceli!" I said, yelling out the window.

"Heyy!"

She walked over to her side of the car and let herself in.

"Really."

"Whattttt you looked tired I wouldn't have made you do it" She said laughing.

"You know i don't like when you open your own door."

"I know I know, but... yea i know."

I smiled at her and kissed her forehead.

"Where to?"

She sat in silence and contemplated for a moment.

"Let's go visit Ms Doe."

Her request caught me completely off guard," Are you sure that's what you want to do?"

"Im sure of it."

"Alright, buckle up."

I pulled into the front of her store and parked, looking for her blue suv.

A sense of relief came over me once I laid my eyes on it.

"Alright, don't you dare touch that door." I said, unlocking the car.

"Fine."

I smiled as I got out and opened her door.

"Such a gentleman." She said sarcastically.

"I'm aware."

She held onto my arm and began to walk into the store.

The bells rang as we walked in.

A cranky old lady followed.

"OI WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" She yelled,"ITS BEEN LONGER THAN A WEEK!"

"Nice to see you as well." I said.
