Chapter Twenty Three - I Thought I Heard You Say

I am REALLY, REALLY sorry that it's short ! I usually upload bigger chapters but I kinda wanted to leave it on a cliffhanger... Hehe! Don't kill me.

Kate’s POV

“Morning” I said as I sat up. I only just realized that I had fallen asleep in Louis’ lap. How embarrassing. “Morning love” Liam said as he walked in the room with PANCAKES.

“Where’s Niall?” I asked as I got out of Louis’ lap and sat beside him. “He’s still asleep” Liam said as he sat down across from me. “I think im gonna go wake him” I said as I got up and walked down the hall and into Niall’s room.

I walked in and he was asleep. He really does look cute when he sleeps. “Who looks cute when they sleep?” Niall asked as he sat up. “Did I say that out loud?” I asked as I stared at my feet. “Yeap” Niall said as he chuckled. “Oh” Is all I said as I blushed.

“Well someone’s looking red today” Niall said as he poked my cheek. “Do not” I mumbled as I sat down on the end of the bed. “Do so” Niall teased. “Shoosh” I said as I laughed.

I really want to tell Niall. I really, really do but I don’t know how he will react when I tell him and I don’t want him to think differently of me. I just really want to know If what I heard the other night was true... Or not. I sighed.

“What’s up with the sigh?” Niall asked as he eyed me suspiciously. Well here I go... You only live once... I guess.

“Uh.. Niall” I said as I looked him in the eyes. “Y-yeah?” Niall asked as he looked back at me. “Umm.. Do you know the other day when we were locked in Liam’s room?” I said as I lost my gaze with him and looked at my feet. “Yeah?” Niall said as he continued to eye me. I could feel his eyes burning into the side of my head.

“Well.. I was... uh.. Half asleep when I heard something and Im not sure if I heard it right or not” I said slowly. “And that was?” Niall asked nervously. “I-I thought I heard you say” I said as I looked up from my feet and looked at his face.

“I thought... You said” I said as I looked him in the eyes.

“I love you Kate”
