Emma's POV
She asked me to explain to her what happened and I did, I hated it though, I felt as if his hands were still touching my body. Inside my clothes
I just wanted it to stop
"Emma?" I heard Maya say and I looked to her
"Are you okay?" She ask and I nod
"Yes I'm fine" I assure her and she nods
"Well Emma, I'm so sorry about what had happened" Diana says and I nod
"There will be an investigation, And I will be working to find you another home as soon as possible,.. but until then unfortunately the only option I have is a group home" Diana says
"What? No that can't be right! She did nothing wrong" Maya says, raising her voice
"I know and this is not a punishment, but it's all I can do" she says and I nod
"Maya it's okay, it's my own fault anyway" I sigh and she shakes her head
"No! No this is not your fault" Maya says and I offer her a small smile
"When do I have to leave? Can I at least wait until later?" I ask Diana and she sighs
"It will take me a few hours to sort it out... so if it's okay with Maya then you can stay until then" Diana says and Maya nods
Just as Diana stood up Mayas door opened
"Andy we're a little busy here" Maya says
"Let me Foster her" Andy says causing both me and Maya to look at her
"What?" We both exclaim
"I have my foster license, i have a stable job, an extra room," Andy says and I look to Maya
"Who are you?" Diana ask her
"Oh sorry" Andy says and stand up Straighter
"Andrea Herrea, I'm the captain here at station 19"she says
"And you have your foster license?" Diana ask and Andy nods
"Only for about 2 weeks but I applied for them a long time ago and finally got accepted" Andy says
"Okay..... I would need to see some paperwork and we would have to sit down but if it all checks out then I don't see why that can't happen... is that okay with you Emma?" Diana says
"Um.. yea Okay sure" I say and she nods
"Well I'll be back later and we can discuss this and Emma can go home with you tonight if it works out, if not then unfortunately you'll still have to go to the group home" Diana says and we all nod and she leaves
"What the hell Andy! Why didn't you tell me this!" Maya yells
"I didn't know if it would work and I didn't want to get her hopes up! But then she told me what happened and I knew I couldn't let her be hurt again" Andy says and I smile softly
