Chapter 45

Present time

Mayas POV

I ran around for over an hour before I got back to the hospital and I walked into carinas office where her and Andrew sat

"Where the hell were you! Maya how can you just leave? Our daughter is in the hospital and you just what? Don't care?" She says

"Carina" Andrew sighs

"Don't you ever say that I don't care. I'm not like you! I can't just decompress in silence, and for you to just say that I don't care that my 16 year old just tried to kill her self? That's fucking low Carina" I say and slam her office door on the way out

She really just did that, I ugh-

I walked around the hospital until I ran into Amelia

"Hey! Have you heard anything?" I ask her, she was helping when viv first came in

"I was actually coming to get you, she's in a room" Amelia says

"Take me there" I say and she nods

"She will be moved tomorrow though" Amelia says when we walk onto the PEDS wing

"What why?" I ask her

"She is going to need more supervision than what she is going to get here" Amelia says

"You're moving her to psych?" I ask

"I'm not her doctor, but it's hospital policy, Arizona held off on it tonight though so you could stay with her, the rules are more  strict on psych" Amelia says and I nod, not wanting to talk anymore

When we got to vivs room Arizona was already in there, viv was in the bed .she had an in iv and other wires connected to her

Her wrist were also bandaged

"Amelia you lost one" Arizona says

"Huh?" Amelia ask

"Carina, I'm not updating one at a time" Arizona says

"Carinas in a mood" I say not taking my eyes off of vivs chest to make sure she was still breathing

"I'll be back" Amelia sighs and walks out

"She's going to be okay?" I ask Arizona

"Physically yes, mentally I don't know" she says and I nod And put my hand on her bed

Not long after Amelia came in with Carina and I didn't look up

"Okay, her laceration was deep, and she lost a lot of blood. It is what causes her to lose consciousness. You got her here just in time. Any later and we would have been having a completely different conversation....... Jackson took a look at her laceration and thankfully she didn't hit any tendons,. He did stitch and bandage her arm" Arizona says and I nod

"We don't know the extent of the damage on her wrist until she wakes up and we can determine that further" she explains

"Now for the hard part. She needs help. And In no way is this your fault" Arizona says and I scoff

I knew something was wrong, I knew she was unhappy and I still couldn't help

"Tomorrow she will be moved to a new room in children's psych, she will still be on this floor but it's a special area where there are more staff around and available" Arizona says

"Tomorrow at sometime she will get a psych consult where they will decide how long she needs to stay and they will sit down with the three of you and make a treatment plan to benefit Viviana, they will have her best interest in hands." She tells us
