Vivianas POV

It's Wednesday now and I'm at the station with mom, only person here though is Travis

I also haven't seen Emma since she left Saturday, I miss her,

My face has healed so much though so that's a plus

Since Emma is in school I texted her and told her to call me when she could and I went to find Travis who was sitting at the front desk

"Shouldn't you be doing school?" He ask me

"Shouldn't you be fighting fires?" I ask and he nods

" touché" he replies and we laugh

"How's the baby momma?" I ask him and he smiles

"She's great, Emmet and I are going to an appointment with her in the morning, we only have like 6 months left" he says and I smile

If anyone deserves to be parents it's them

We we were talking the trucks came back in and my mom noticed me and walked over to me

"Help" I mouth to Travis and he puts his hand up

"Viviana your school work better be done if you're down here talking to Travis" she says and I turn around

"It is" I lie

"And now you're lying to me?" She ask sternly, damn, don't know who pissed in her Cheerios this morning

"Mom I can literally do it whenever" I say

"Now" she says firmly, and I sigh, trying not to embarrass myself too much for getting in trouble in front of her team I walked back to her office and open my lap top

I only had a little left to do today, 

I had opened the assignment and got on my phone because I had gotten a notification, and let's be honest. I get distracted easily

"Viviana Kate! That is not doing your work" my mom Says and I jump, not having noticed she had cane into the office

"Bro all I have to do is take a small questionnaire" I say

"Give me your phone until you finish" she says and I scoff

"No" I tell her and she gives me a look that actually makes me fear for my life, but no backing out now

"If I have to ask again, you won't see your phone or Emma for a week" she threatens and I roll my eyes but give it to her, I can't risk not seeing Emma, it's already been days

"I'll be back and that should be done" she says and walks out

God, I don't know why she is being such a bitch today

I finished my work and waited for my mom to come back so could have my phone

I waited

And waited

And waited and she still didn't come do I went to look for her in the beanery

"Where's my mom?" I ask Andy

"Should have been in her office" she says and I sigh

"What's going on?" She ask me

"She's being a bitch! For no reason, I literally did nothing" I say and she hits my arm

"Do not talk about your mother that way" she says firmly and I look to the ground,

I don't know why I say some of the things I do and I don't realize it until after I said it
