Vivianas POV

It's been 2 weeks since mom walked in on me and Emma and ever since then she tells me to keep the door open

I mean I do for the most part but honestly, why are parents so worried about a door?

Emma is currently here though but she's sleeping

I like it when Emma is here, for a lot of reasons but one of them being I don't have to go with mom or mama when they work

While I was lying in bed and Emma was asleep her phone kept going off with a bunch of notifications

It's wrong of me to check that right? I mean it's her phone, her business. But what if it's important?

I grabbed Emma's phone which unlocked with my Face ID, mine did the same with hers

So I guess if it unlocks with my face then there is nothing wrong with it

I opened up her messages and seen a lot coming from her dad

Dad: You need to be home now

Dad: Emma! I swear to god if your ass is not in this house before it gets dark you're going to regret it

Dad: if that's how you want it then fine, be ready when you get home

Those were all from last night, when Emma first got here,

She told me she could stay? That she was allowed to

There were new ones from this morning now too

As I was reading through them I didn't even notice Emma wake up

"What are you doing?" She ask in a demanding tone

"I- um" I hesitate, I thought she was going to take her phone but she didn't

I sighed and handed it to her and she looked at what I was doing and put the phone down and closed her eyes

"Why are you on my phone?" She ask

"It kept going off and and I didn't know if it was important or not so I checked it" I say and she sighs

"And you seen messages from my dad sí?" She ask and I nod

"Okay" she sighs

"Viviana... I'm not mad at you" she says and I interrupt her before she could continue

"Why not? I did something I shouldn't have, it's your phone and I shouldn't have done that" I say

"Yes it is mine but I have nothing on there I need to hide from you. Your Face ID unlocks it, so you can be on it whenever" she says and I look at her confused

"Do I wish you would have woken me up when you seen it was my dad? Yes" she says and I nod

"But only because your thinking of a bunch of different things that my dad could do?" She ask and I nod

"Emma that's not okay" I say

"Viv, princesa, I am okay. My dad doesn't hurt me" she says

"Emma" I express

"He doesn't mean too," she corrects

"You need to tell someone, my moms they can help" I say and hold her hands before she could move away

"And then what? I'm not like you, I don't have other family, it's just me and my dad" she says and tries get to up but I stop her and

"Let me go" she says and I shake my head and she sighs
