Jihyo's Point of View :
Nayeon : " So we took the wrong turn? "
Jihyo : " Yep! we have to take a U-turn now "
I said while examining the address in my hand. We having been circling around the road for 5 minutes now, as you all know we are here to deliver this special package to its owner. We are here in UN village. This place is famous as many idols live here and is a beautiful place between hills. For now Nayeon unnie is driving me here but she was so engrossed in focusing on the road that she took the wrong turn ( that's what she said but she was very nervous while driving hence we missed the right turn. ) I was grabbing on very tightly to the seat belt while she was driving and God... I almost had a heart attack when she applied the brakes suddenly and reasoned that there was a puppy crossing the road.
Nayeon : " Okay then... lets go back. "
She said and started turning the car towards the right direction, the destination is just a few minutes away and I am sure we will reach there quickly
Kang Daniel's house is the next stop!
Oh! and I remembered he is the same person who was in a group called WannaOne and now he is going to be a soloist. I heard he has some law suit issues going on now. There was also news going on that he is friends with Yoongi oppa, maybe they are close.
Nayeon : " What do you think this Kang Daniel has to do with PD-nim? "
She asked in the midst of driving,
Jihyo : " I have no idea! "
Honestly I have heard he is close with 2AM's Seulong oppa, I think oppa had requested PD-nim to help Kang Daniel-ssi with the law suit.
Nayeon : " We are here! check once if we are at the same place or not. "
She instructed me after stopping the car in front of a house which was big and beautiful. I checked the address with the name plate hanged at the front and it matched very well. I told this to Nayeon unnie and we both decided to get out the car now, just to be sure we wore our masks and bucket hats. When I was about to get off I heard my phone ringing. The caller ID read Jin oppa.
Why is he calling me though?
Jin : " Hello! Jihyo, you guys are in the dorm? "
He asked,
Jihyo : " No oppa I am out with Nayeon unnie. "
Jin : " Really? can I speak with her for a bit? "
He asked to which I handed the phone to Nayeon unnie, she smiled so widely and acted like a complete idiot by squealing and bouncing. They two started speaking among themselves. Jin oppa maybe didn't ask whether we were sleeping or not because Nayeon unnie might have told him we have a schedule till late night. She speaks almost 24/7 with him, sometimes I wonder how many more stories she has to tell him, doesn't she ever run out of words or does her mouth never hurt?
They are now starting to take more minutes to speak that my patience is thinning, come on unnie I want to finish this work as soon as possible and go to sleep. I gave her a deadpan and she sheepishly smiled before saying
Nayeon : " Can you please go finish the work by yourself please...."
She made puppy eyes and said that. Couldn't she have said that before? I would have finished my work by now and besides I am not that bad to ruin a romantic moment between two couples hence I just rolled my eyes at her and proceeded to ring the bell of the house.
I just hope she doesn't makes my phone run out of battery. I really hope Jin oppa's ears stay safe after hearing to her ear-bleeding stories.
The bell made a sound of Christmas jingle bells and a smile got plastered on my face, I turned out to say Nayeon unnie that the music was very good but there all I saw was a empty road.
Where the hell did she go? Did she leave without me? How will I go back now? Unnie!!!!!
I was just nanosecond away from screaming Nayeon unnie's name and making her ears bleed with my yells but then I saw a sticky note pasted on the mail box, I swear this was not there when I had entered through the gate. With curiosity I went and read it
Nayeon : Jin oppa is near somewhere here, I wanted to see him hence I am going for now, after you are done with your work call me so we can go back together. Also I am taking your phone with me.
Damn she scared me, I almost thought that I was abandoned and I had to find my way back to the dorm all by myself in this strangely frightening place. But she really has no right to disappear like this!!!!
I was internally scolding her when I heard the sound of door being opened. I turned around to see the person I was hoping for.... Kang Daniel, he is kinda cute I guess, his hair is brown with a normal haircut. He has this cat eyes and that smile of his reminds me of Yoongi oppa. Though Yoongi oppa's smile is much more cute and more gummier....his smile is fine too. He is wearing normal cosy clothes and he smiled at me after meeting my eyes, I smiled back too.
Daniel : " You are TWICE's Jihyo right?? "
He asked a bit excitedly, is he fanboying??
Jihyo : " Yes... um... are you the rightful owner of this? "
I asked him while showing him the envelope in my hand, I really don't know what to speak about. He took the envelope from my hands and when he spotted the 'JYP Entertainment, leader in entertainment' logo his smile grew wider.
Daniel : " Yes! you are in the right place! Oh! did JYP-nim send you here? Oh forgive me, I forgot to invite you inside, please come in. "
He offered, at first he started speaking among himself, when he asked me a question he didn't wait for my reply and then he realized that I was still outside so he invited me.
If I were to say how I felt after meeting him then I would say he is a gentleman? I really don't know what my first impression in him should be, he seems friendly and out going. I heisted a bit before entering his house, he held the door wide open and had moved off the way to welcome me.
Honestly speaking I am a bit scared, like its not good to enter some stranger's house right? but still I decided to go in cause he looked friendly and harmless, besides I don't have any where else to go until Nayeon unnie is free. There's no harm in waiting here, and I am a tough cookie, its not easy for anyone to harm me.
After entering his house, my eyes wandered around automatically. His house looks cozy and welcoming perfectly decorated with furniture and cute lightings. There's nothing fancy but it looks very good and warm. Its like the best place to live in. Everything including the walls were painted in light bright colours like baby blue or white. Its cute but not girly.
Daniel : " Please make yourself at home, take a seat. "
He said after closing the door behind me and pointing towards the sofa, I was a bit afraid when he closed the door but I felt relieved knowing that he didn't lock it. If I want to run away then I easily can.
I took a seat and he also sat in front of me. There was a table beside him with a tea pot and a cup. He poured some hot Choco and handed me, I thanked him and started sipping the delicious Hot Choco. Trust me this is the best one I ever had, its really very good.
Daniel : " Do you like it? "
He asked looking up at me after taking his sip, I smiled widely and nodded. He smiled too and then said,
Daniel : " Actually I am a ONCE too, I like your songs a lot. "
He said to which I smiled and replied,
Jihyo : " Thank you very much, I have heard few of your songs too. "
I said, honestly yes I have heard few of his group's songs, Chaeyoung likes to listen to idol groups a lot and one day she played their song and started partying to it. Momo even tried to cover the dance but due to busy schedules she was not able to complete it.
Daniel : " Really? thank you, though we were not as good as you I hope you liked it. "
He said smiling warmly at me, he made me feel comfortable and friendly. I don't think there's any harm in being here.
Jihyo : " I liked it a lot.. um... "
I stopped mid sentence not knowing what to call him. They debuted after us right? so would it be okay to call him a hoobae? will he get awkward? but he was born before me making him an elder, it would be a disrespect to call him a hoobae.
Daniel : " You can call me by my name since I am only months older or you can call me oppa,... that is if you feel comfortable. "
He offered, calling a person as oppa only after meeting him before a few minutes doesn't feels right...
Jihyo : " Then, can I call you by your name? would it be okay? "
I asked, to which he smiled and replied.
Daniel : " Of course, whatever makes you feel comfortable. "
Jihyo : " Thank you Daniel-ssi "
I said, I am still not used to his friendly behaviour, we just met and I think it would be wrong to call him by his name hence I added that -ssi at the end, after hearing to it he winced a bit may be because he was not expecting me to add -ssi to his name but he didn't say anything about it. Maybe because he understood that I was still not comfortable enough to that extent around him. We stayed silent for a moment until we both finished our cup of Hot Choco, it was not awkward but instead a comfortable silence. He treated me very well.
Daniel : " You might be wondering what was there in that envelope that JYP-nim might have sent you here at this hour. "
He commented, Bingo!!! that's right I was wondering about what the envelope has throughout the whole ride, I kept playing with its edge contemplating whether or not I should have a peek.
I smiled sheepishly at him as a response to his question. His smile grew wider and he replied,
Daniel : " They are some documents that would help me solve my law suit issues. I am also planning to open a company of my own for the solo debut activities hence JYP-nim is helping me out. "
Ahh.... I had guessed it right. But opening a company of his own just to be able to debut as a soloist?? Rich people can sure do whatever they want. He is totally following the footsteps of JYP PD-nim. He also had opened a company of his own to be able to become a successful singer.
Jihyo : " Then... good luck Daniel-ssi, hope everything goes well and you get to debut as soon as possible and fulfil your dreams. "
I said with an encouraging smile.
Daniel : " Thank you... its means a lot. "
We then were again engulfed with a comfortable silence, to be honest it was soo... quiet that it was starting to get suffocating. Before the atmosphere turned awkward he spoke up.
Daniel : " Um... what can I call you? "
He asked, oh! I totally forgot to introduce myself.
Jihyo : " You can call me by my name, Jihyo. "
I said with a sweet smile
Daniel : " Then Jihyo, sorry for not introducing myself before, I am Kang Daniel , former WannaOne member and a to-be soloist. Its nice meeting you. "
He said with a very friendly tone accompanied with a warm smile.
Jihyo : " Then.. should I also do my part of introduction? "
I asked curiously to which he swayed his head sideways which was a typical gesture of saying 'no' and said,
Daniel : " I already know you, I mean like... come on who doesn't? Park Jihyo, the leader and main vocal of the biggest girl group in Korea and Japan, its nice to meet you. "
He said to which I smiled widely.
Daniel : " So Jihyo, do you like my house? "
He asked showing me around, but why would it matter if I like his house or not? Maybe this also some type of modestly(?) hence I replied....
Jihyo : " Its very good... very warm, cozy and welcoming. "
Daniel : " Thanks"
He said why rubbing the back of his neck, but why did he do that though? We stayed silent like that for a few more minutes....again.
Daniel : " Did you come here alone? not with your manager or someone? "
He asked curiously after a few minutes.
Jihyo : " Yes... I came with one of my member but she said that one of her friend is near so she went to meet up with them. "
Daniel : "Ahh..... So you will stay here until she comes back?
He asked, is he indirectly asking me to go home now or is he asking me out of concern? I fell in a dilemma and maybe he might have read my confused expressions hence he spoke up.
Daniel : " There's no problem with me if you want to wait here. Be comfortable and you can wait for your member from here. "
He offered with a kind smile, now I genuinely believe he is a nice guy, but that doesn't mean I will stay here for long, it might be burdensome for him, after all its already late and he would love to go to bed.
Jihyo : " Thank you Daniel-ssi, sorry for bothering you, don't worry I won't stay here for too long I am sure my member will come any minute. "
I said hoping that 'my member will come here any time soon' part will get true.
Daniel : " No worries, you can stay here as long as you want. If its gets late then I will drop you back to your dorm so don't worry too much. Would you like to eat some cookies? Please wait here, I will get some for you "
He said and went off to what seemed like the kitchen. He probably had realized that I would deny his offer of cookie hence he didn't wait for my response. He came back with a tray loaded with many choco chip cookies that looked very delicious.
Daniel : " Here have some. "
He offered me and I didn't think twice before grabbing on to one of the cookies.
Jihyo : " Um.. "
I made that sound while savoring the delicious cookie, it really tasted as good as it looked. He saw and heard my reaction and chuckled, that's when I realized that I was forgetting my manners.
Daniel : " My Mom had baked them and had sent me loads of them, I was thinking as to how I will finish all these but now... would you like to give me company? "
He asked to which I grinned and grabbed on to a handful of cookies when he brought the tray near me. Yeah, I know its not good to eat more in someone else's place but its not my mistake that these cookies are very VERY delicious and besides didn't he say its alright to eat as much as I want.
It took us a while to finish those cookies while speaking about many things. He kept on saying how much he liked our songs and how it fitted very well to his everyday situations. He kept on saying that our songs provided him comfort during hard days. To be honest I really felt very faltered and at the beginning I thought he was just saying things but then he went on to describe deeply as to how TWICE songs helped him get through hard days, I felt very happy that our songs are helping people. They are not only making them feel good but are also teaching them many things. Its the biggest honor which a person can ever ask. For a artist the most important thing is that people like their songs not only because the tune is catchy but also because the lyrics hold a great meaning and they like the emotion the artist ejects in them.
We were chatting like that when I heard a honk, thinking that it might be Nayeon unnie, I quickly peaked out the window and yes it was Nayeon unnie. If it was a few minutes ago then I would have been very happy to see her and would have left as soon as possible but now Daniel-ssi was making me feel comfortable and its like now be have become familiar with each other well.
Daniel : " Oh! looks like your member is here "
He said while peaking out too, I smiled at him before standing up and he did the same too. He came to escort me till the door, when we were near the door he said,
Daniel : " It was nice meeting you Jihyo, too bad I was not able to make this meeting more comfortable but I hope you enjoyed your time here. "
I smiled to his answer and replied.
Jihyo : " I enjoyed my time here a lot Daniel-ssi, don't feel like that. "
I said to which he grinned and said,
Daniel : " I have met with many female idols Jihyo but none of them were so eay-going like you. Either they expressed too much in front of me or they would run away or find it awkward. You are someone new. "
Someone New? what is that supposed to mean? would it be okay to take it as a compliment?
Jihyo : " Thank you for the compliment Daniel-ssi. "
I said confidently hoping that it was a compliment.
Daniel : " Don't thank me, you deserve it. And I hope to meet you again "
He said with a fresh and warmest smile.
Jihyo : " Me too, I hope we can meet sometime again as well. "
I said but with that his smile grew so wide that it reached his eyes and his eyes got wider.
Daniel : " Really? You mean it? "
He asked happily, Did I sound like I was just telling it for the sake of formality or something? I really mean it. He is such a admirable and wonderful person who would not like to meet him again?
I just nodded with a smile as a response
Daniel : " Well... the chances are very low but if we meet again I would prefer you call me just by my name. After all we are friends now aren't we? "
He asked expectantly and since I also have no reason to reject his friendship offer I agreed. He was really very happy.
After that I left his house and hopped on to Nayeon unnie's car, as she saw me waving towards Daniel-ssi she smirked and said.
Nayeon : " Ohohh... looks like someone enjoyed their time at someone's house. "
She commented to which I rolled my eyes and said
Jihyo : " Yeah.. but not as much as you who enjoyed their time with ( *making quoting signs with fingers* )their so called friend. "
I replied savagely to which she now turned her attention fully towards the road indicating she won't speak anymore. To be honest I should be the one teasing her as she went out to meet Jin oppa at this time of hour, I want to tease her about what happened in that mansion and I want to know how it started and how its going, I want to tease her regarding how they are still comfortable with each other after what happened ( like being people who go on saying that they are 'just friends', how can they not be awkward after kissing each other? )
No. More than all these I should be yelling at her as to why she left me all alone without a proper notice. But...I am so tired right now that I just want to go flop on the bed and sleep like my life depends on it. I am very very..... tired.
The rested my head on the window and admired the night beauty of UN Village. It was very calm, quiet and peaceful here. Not to mention the clear sky which added up to its night beauty.
Kang Daniel..... It was nice meeting you.

Finally, yes finally I introduced Kang Daniel in this story. To be honest I really had no idea how to bring him in the chapter, this one was just made up. Hope you guys like it. As I said I really had no idea on how to complete this chapter so please bear with it.
For people who don't know, KD or Kang Daniel was Jihyo's boyfriend but not now! The things said in this chapter about him as true ( things about his profession )
