Finding Another Horcrux

I ran up to Fred and George as I saw them first. I gave them hugs. "I need you both to be careful, alright?"

"You don't have to worry about us, Bridge," Fred nodded.

"We'll be alright," George smiled. "It's good to see you again."

I smiled and nodded. Two other faces seemed to be waiting at the door for me. I looked back to them, "I have to go. Please, be careful." I turned and ran over to Tonks and Remus.

I hugged Tonks first, and I noticed her belly wasn't as there anymore. I hugged Remus first. "It's so good to see you again!"

"Right back at ya, Bridge," Tonks laughed.

"So, hows the baby?"

"Good," she smiled. "He's a few days old. Had him about two days ago."

"Oh my god, how are you still here?"

"Because I want to fight for the good of our world. So Teddy doesn't have to grow up in fear."

"His name's Teddy?"

"It's actually Edward Remus Lupin, but we call him Teddy," Remus explained to me. "And we wanted to talk to you about him, actually."

"What about?"

Tonks took a deep breath, "If we don't make it, since you're the godmother, we want you to take care of him. Right now, my mother has him, but she's old. She can't care for him together. You and Harry need to take over."

"A note will be in one of our pockets, explaining the details," Remus said. "We know we can trust you and Harry to make smart choices. We trust you."

"But that won't happen, right? You guys will be fine," I stared at them.

"You never know."

"Bridge!" I heard my name called from the stairwell.

I looked back to the couple, "Well, be careful. I'll see you later!" I ran towards the grand stairwell. I saw Harry halfway up the stairs and Luna was running down the stairs towards me.

"Bridget, Harry's waiting for you," Luna told me as she ran off.

I ran up towards Harry, "You waited for me?"

"Yeah, we do things together. Right?"

"Right. But where are we going?"

"Luna said since nobody alive who's seen it, I should find someone dead. So we're looking for Helena Ravenclaw."

We ran down the corridor towards the Quad. I stopped. It was beautiful, the protection shield in the sky.

"Come on, Bridge. We haven't got much time."

I nodded and followed after him. We took a few more steps and there was the ghost. The person we were looking for.

She looked to us.

Harry and I stepped forward, "Hello. So, you're the Grey Lady?"

"You're Helena Ravenclaw?" I corrected. She has a name, you know. "You're Rowena's daughter, right?"

She began to back away, "Are you friends of Luna Lovegood?"

"Yes," I nodded.

"She said you might be able to help us," Harry nodded.

She was silent at first. Then she spoke, "You're looking for my mother tiara, aren't you?"

"Yes, we are."

"Luna is very kind to me. Unlike most of the other students and staff. But she is wrong when she said I could help you. I cannot," she started to fly away, but Harry and I began to follow her.

"Please don't go!" I called out.

"We want to destroy it," Harry stood next to me. We watched as spells began to hit the shield. The earth began to shake. I ran along side Harry as we tried to follow her. "Don't you want that? To destroy it?"

"Another tried. Several years ago. A strange wizard with a familiar name."

"Tom Riddle," Harry and I both nodded.

"He lied to me."

"He's lied to multiple people."

"I know who that man is!" She screamed at us. "He's ruined it! With his dark magic!"

Harry took a step back but I stood my ground, "We know. And we know how to take the dark magic out. We want to fix it. But we need to know where it is first."

She didn't say anything. So I continued, "Do you see what they're doing?" I pointed to the shield, "Soon they will break it down. They will invade. We will all be dead and Voldemort will have won. Hogwarts would be just a graveyard and garbage dump. You don't want that, do you? Well we can stop that from happening."

She sighed, "It may seem strange, but you remind me of him."

Breathe, Bridge. Breathe.

"It's in the castle. Where everything else is hidden. If you ask, you may never know. If you already know, then you just need to ask," and with that she floated away.

"I hate riddles," I looked to Harry, "but I think I know where she's talking about."

"Where?"

"What do we need most right now?"

"The diadem."

"What room will show it to us?"

He thought for a moment then I saw his eyes widen, "The Room of Requirement!" I nodded. We both ran down the corridors. Harry and I fought against the crowd and swarming teenagers. But as we were running, Harry seemed to be in pain.

"Harry?" I knelt down by his side.

He got up, "We need to hurry." Then the ground shook. I heard explosions of all sorts as we ran down the stairs. We saw Ginny. Harry ran to her first. I stood there awkwardly as he kissed her. It was so weird.

Then we were back to running. As we were running down one specific corridor, shrapnel and chunks of the walls began to break and tumble. I tripped on one and fell.

I was trying to get up when Harry ran to me. He grabbed onto my arm and pulled me up, "You okay?"

"Fine. Let's go," I grabbed his arm and ran down the hall. Ahead of us was the wall. I watched as he closed his eyes. The walls began to morph into the doors.

We welcomed ourselves in. Harry and I looked to the hills of junk that had been piled up for about a good year or two.

"How are we going to find it in this mess?" I kicked a box that was lying in front of me.

"Follow me. I can sense it," He spoke as he walked deeper into the mess. I followed him like a lost puppy. He stopped  and I could feel something off about him. "There," he was staring at a table in front of a pile.

We walked over. He removed a rope from the top of it. I opened it. Sure enough, it was the diadem. Harry began to pick it up when we heard a familiar voice, "Well hello there. Didn't stop by to see me once you got here. Kind of hurt by that."

I turned. Draco, Blaise, and Goyle were standing there. Draco didn't have his wand out but the other two did. I smiled, "Draco."

He smiled at me before speaking, "So what are you two doing here?"

"I should ask the same question," Harry stood in front of me.

"You have a valuable item of mine. I would love it back."

"You can't have Bridget. She stays with me."

I opened my mouth to speak but Draco beat me to it, "As much as I'd love to have her as well, I really need my wand back."

"Don't you have one?" Harry asked.

Draco pulled one from his pocket, "Mother's isn't the same. It doesn't understand me like my other one did."

I pulled the wand from my pocket. Luckily, it wasn't smashed or broken. I walked in front of Harry and held it out. Draco walked up. He took it and hugged me. It was great to see him again. Great to hold him again.

Once he let go, we both walked back to our friends. Harry pipped up, "Why didn't you tell Bellatrix? You could've told her that it was me, but you didn't. Why?"

"Stop being a little brat and do it, Draco."

"Shut your mouth, Goyle," I snapped. "You don't speak for him."

"And you don't tell me what to do!" The man snapped, aiming his wand at me. "Choose Draco: your girlfriend or us."

"You don't have to choose if you don't want to, Draco."

"Choose!"

"If you do choose, pick good rather than evil. You too, Blaise."

"Choose, Draco. Or I'll choose for you."

I saw Draco's face contorted. He was stressed. I understood that feeling. But before I could say another word, Hermione came from behind, "Expelliarmus!"

Goyle's wand flew out of his hand, but he caught it. He threw the killing curse at 'Mione. I ducked as well as the others. Hermione threw the stunning spell at him, but missed. It hit the diadem. I watched as it flew to the top of a large pile of furniture.

I groaned.

The boys ran off. Ron ran right behind them yelling, "That is my new girlfriend, you bloody pricks!"

I looked to Hermione in shock, "What?!"

She giggled a little, "Yeah."

"It's about bloody time!" I cheered.

I heard a bang as a chair fell from the pile of furniture that Harry was climbing. Wait, Harry's climbing a pile of chairs! Help him, Goddamit!

I began to climb another part of the tower. I put my foot on a chair.

It wasn't stable but it'd have to do.

I began to ascend up, nearly falling every two seconds. Harry pulled the diadem from underneath a sofa, "And got it!"

I smiled. Hermione and Harry jumped down as I was still up there. I noticed an orange light from a little ways away. Then I heard Ron scream as he ran. He grabbed Hermione and ran to the doors, "Come on! Goyle set this place on bloody fire!"

Harry looked up to me, "Bridge! Come down!"

I expected Draco to run as I jumped off but instead fire came. Harry grabbed my hand. We started to run from the fire. As we met up with Hermione and Ron, I threw water spells backwards. It didn't do much help.

I stopped, "Wait! Draco!"

"You gotta leave him."

"I'm not leaving my boyfriend to die!" I grabbed a nearby broomstick. A flew things flew past me as I mounted the broom. I lifted off. I watched as Harry, Hermione, and Ron all got on a broom. Hermione and Ron rode together. "If this kills us, I will kill you! You better be happy I care about you, Bridget!"

I flew around until I saw the two boys atop two piles of junk. I grabbed Draco's hand and pulled him up. I watched as Harry pulled up Blaise. I couldn't see Goyle however.

Good. Wait! No! Bad! Very bad, Bridget! We don't want people dying. Even if he was a complete asshole.

Before we flew out, Harry threw the diadem into the eternal fire. We flew out and the door closed right as we flew out. We all tumbled to the ground. I stood up, hugging Draco for dead life.

Then I looked to Harry. He was on the ground, groaning in pain. I fell to my knees beside him, "Harry?"

He was breathing really hard and was sweaty all over.

"Harry?!"

"It's his snake. She's the last horcrux."

I looked to Ron and Hermione. They were as shocked as I was. I stood up and tried not to look back at Harry. I walked around the corner so they couldn't see as a tear fell from my eye, It's almost time.
