dream smiled as he talked, feeling george link and unlink their ankles underneath the table.

"i actually got into my first ever fistfight with techno."

george shoved a handful of fries in his mouth with a concerned look. "what happened?"

"i don't remember exactly, but i think he was trying to impress a girl." dream shrugged, not too caught up in the past.

"was it the same girl you guys practice kissed for?"

dream felt a smile on his face, "it was actually. we probably ruined their senior prom pictures when we both showed up with bright pink hair."

"you don't talk about him a lot. what's he like?" george was invested in the smile on dream's face that always appeared when he thought back to his hometown. dream however was focused on george at the moment.

"there's not a lot to say. he was just a normal kid, until you saw him at home. i knew a lot of kids in my class, but none of them were as funny as techno was, even when he wasn't trying. couple that with tommy and i'd be on the floor laughing."

"tommy is the offensive one?" george asked, strictly to paint a picture in his head. dream nodded in response.

"we used to go to this place in the woods, with a river, it was really cool. techno brought his first girlfriend there, and she dumped him when he asked if she wanted to get in the water. phil said it was because she did her hair or something but techno wasn't hung up on it for too long. will, tommy and tubbo would recite plays, pretending to have power over entire nations."

for a second dream was transported back into the clearing of the trees, staring up the stream of the river, missing home.

"you know, dumb kid stuff." dream again shrugged his shoulders turning his attention to focus back on george.

"you had a much more eventful childhood than i did." george reached over the table, grabbing a handful of fries from dream, he had appeared to have already finish his own. dream pushed the fries over to george, not as hungry as he originally anticipated.

"it's no fun, if i'm not stealing them from you." george pushed the fries back to dream.

he rolled his eyes, pulling the fries back in front of himself to entertain the wants of the boy sitting across from him. "how about we actually go check some sweatshirts out now?"

george nodded, shoveling a handful of fries into his mouth when dream stood from the bench.

"how is bath and body works legal, there are too many scents in there, being compacted into a small room. it's lethal."

dream wheezed, george talked about some of the most random things sometimes. he posed in front of the mirror inspecting the sweatshirt he currently wore.

"i don't like this one." dream huffed, stepping out of the fitting room to show george.

george on the other hand, seemed to have no complaints. he stared at dream for several seconds, before shaking his head and clearing his throat. "we picked a lot, you don't have to like them all." george handed him another sweatshirt.

dream brushed his fingers, suddenly feeling the need to be closer to the smaller man. he retreated back into the dressing room, pulling the sweatshirt over his head.

"excuse me could you please help me with this tie?"

"uhm, sure."

he heard george speak from outside the curtain of the small room. he quirked an eyebrow, wondering who george was talking to, he peeked out the door, eyes landing on george helping a girl tie together a bikini top.

curse george's overly friendly demeanor.

he stepped out of the dressing room.

"by any chance do you have a girlfriend?" she began turning around from in front of george.

"oh, no, i um-"

when she locked eyes with dream she sunk into her skin, knowing she was caught.

"george?"

the brunette spun around, glad dream was there to save him from the situation.

"do you like this one."

he looked past george, watching as the girl stepped into her designated dressing room.

"this one is nice." george felt the yellow fabric in his hands.

dream nodded, walking back to the mirror, trying to calm himself from the previous situation.

he threw the hood up, tightening the strings, then he turned around, truly inspecting every angle he could think of. he began taking off the sweatshirt.

"here try this-"

george had entered the room at the wrong time.

dream's shirt came off with the sweatshirt and he felt considerably exposed as george's eyes scanned his skin, red deepening on his face.

"oh my god."

george retreated from the dressing room. dream smiled as he heard george repeat the words to himself. dream pulled his shirt over his head, stepping back out of the dressing room. "which one did you want me to try on?" he smirked when george turned from him.

"this one." george handed him the sweatshirt, turning back around, scared to face the blonde.

of course dream wasn't having it, he approached george, wrapping his arms around his torso and rested his head on top of the brunette's. "it's okay george."

"it's embarrassing."

"only a little."

they stood still for a moment, dream feeling suddenly very daring. "i bet she could never make you blush like that."

george laughed, reaching his hands up to rub dream's arms. "shut up and hurry."

dream scoffed rolling his eyes. "i'm not going to be the only one wearing these, you have to try them on aswell."

"we're shopping for you, dream. i have plenty of your sweatshirts as is."

"i'd give you all of these sweatshirts and the moon if i had the chance."

"you're being so annoying." george giggled as he pressed back into dream's chest. "i want to see what else you have planned for today."

dream pouted "i want to have fun with you now though, who knows when we get to spend time alone again after this."

dream and george conversation are my favorite because i don't have to think of a witty comeback for sapnap
