paying attention to anything was considerably harder than it already was with a giggly george sat just on the other side of the counter.

"your hair looks so soft."

a smile grew on his face as he glanced up to the brunette who had been intently watching him label boxes full of equipment. this has been the fourth time he had said those same exact words in the past 2 hours.

"yeah?" he would ask, knowing the answer that would follow.

"i need a screen protector for my phone."

that was new.

he recapped the marker, sliding it into his sweatpants pocket as he offered a hand to the brunette.

george's smile perked up as he slid his cold hand into dream's. the blonde bit back a laugh, smiling as he watched the intoxicated blush on george's pale skin deepen. he squeezed george's hand nonetheless. "i was asking for your phone, babe."

he felt his face drop at the same time george's smile widened.

dream had never called anyone babe before, where it had came from was beyond him. george giggled as he slid his phone over the counter, keeping his hand in the warmth of dream's.

dream picked up the phone to distract himself from the smile on george's face.

"you called me babe." george giggled harder, pushing his face into his arm to quiet his laughs.

dream inspected the scratches on the phone, staring at the reflection of his smile through the screen. he smiled harder when the screen turned on, revealing a picture most likely taken last night, where dream had been curled into the brunette's chest, sleeping soundly.

"you're such a dork." he laughed, setting the phone back down on the counter. george lifted his head to laugh with him, unaware of the reason, other than enjoying the joy that bubbled inside of him.

after many distracted giggled filled hours, bad sent dream home early, with the sole task of making sure george got home and in bed safely. george was glad, happy to finally be free from anyone's eyes but dream's.

**

george flopped down on the couch. "we're finally home."

dream sat beside him, smiling when george's feet came up to rest on his thighs.

"you know."

he turned to the brunette, eager to see what other thoughts ran through his brain when under the influence.

"you're the best kisser i've ever met."

dream chuckled, not exactly what he had expected. "how would you know we've never kissed."

he smiled at george who had been looking at him with a smirk, "we can change that." the sharp turn in the conversation made dream's heart pick up pace.

the entire walk here had been filled with giggles and off the top of the head thoughts from the both of them. this was not nearly close to what he had expected.

he felt his eyes widening as he watched george crawl over to his lap, taking a seat on his thighs where his legs previously lay. he had nowhere to look but the brunette.

george was breathtaking, it wasn't an argument. he was beautiful, and the way he looked at dream right now with an indescribable feeling in his eyes only proved it, making him choke on his thoughts.

the brunette rested the tips of his fingers on dream's exposed forearm, gliding them across the skin and leaving behind burning trails that lit his skin on fire. george kept his eyes locked with dream's. the blonde could feel sweat accumulating underneath his shirt.

"would you like that?" george leaned in closer, lips barely ghosting the blonde's ear, "if i kissed you."

dream was trying to take in air. his lungs would never fill enough to straighten the thoughts crashing through his mind, with the accompanying sound of cymbals. he was long past thinking straight. literally and figuratively.

"george." he tried to sound stern, but his voice came out breathy, the words just barely processing in george's jumbled brain. he had to bite his tongue to stop himself from continuing.

george rested his head in the crook of dream's neck. his breath warm against the blonde's burning skin. every breath sent a shiver down his form, the shivers tangling themselves into his spine. every inch of the blonde was hot, he wasn't very pleased with himself and his idea to wear sweatpants today.

"hold me please?"

he wrapped his arms around the older's torso, hoping the contact would relieve the itch that grew deep inside of himself . george shook his head, and pulled away from dream's neck. the air that filled in the now empty space was freezing compared to before. george slowly moved dream's arms so they rested around his hips.

he used too much brain power to stop his fingers from grasping at the curve of his waist. he could feel the moisture in his mouth dissipate. he knew this was wrong but he couldn't seem to pull himself away. george held all of dream's attention, and he was very aware of it. his gaze was intense on dream's lips. he could feel everytime george shifted his weight against his thighs.

"i want to kiss you."

"you don't know what you want, you're drunk."

george smiled down at dream, his lips a pretty pink that dream was sure mirrored the pink on his very own face.

"only a little." george leaned in and wrapped his arms around dream's neck.

the blonde swallowed his words contemplating what it was he wanted to say. "george." his voice wavered and he sounded to be pleading. he hated how he could feel george's breath on his lips and instead of turning it away he was welcoming it.

slowly george leaned in, closing the space between them. his lips started slow, as if he was cherishing the feeling. colors bloomed behind dream's eyelids. the feeling causing every muscle in the blonde to slacken. he could feel the way their chests met with every shared breath they took. he thought he could get intoxicated from the others lips, and he wasn't talking about the lingering alcohol.

dream didn't hate it, and that was the problem, it was wrong.

congratulations for making it to the major plot point.! 83 chapters in and we finally got a kiss, how's it feel?
