POG i'm so happy you guys enjoy this book it makes me so genuinely happy

when they made it to george's apartment dream was resisting the idea of putting him down.

"dream you have to put me down."

he shook his head, "don't want to."

"we don't even have to stay inside, but at least put down your bag."

dream huffed, "fine." he set down george to let him unlock the door, however when dream stood up from setting george down the smaller man was pulled into his chest.

they had never untied their hoodie strings.

dream's hands fell on george's hips to steady the both of them, he turned away, trying not to admire the feeling of the mans waist under his hands. "sorry." he removed his touch.

george blushed as he untied the strings. "we should be more careful."

"...yeah." dream's voice was barely audible, he was still recovering.

they stepped around in front of george's apartment, and dream fumbled with the board in his hands.

"what if i teach you?"

george shook his head, raising his hands. "no, no, no, you don't have to."

dream shook his head, setting down the board."c'mere i insist." he beckoned george over.

george stood in front of the board, "dream it's fine, honestly you don't have to, i'm fine with watching."

"oh c'mon, don't you trust me?" he held out his hands to help george stand on the board.

"that's not fair, of course i trust you." george crossed his arms, tucking his hands away from the blonde.

"then what are you scared of, i've got you."

george gave in, placing his hands in dream's.

"if you let go i'll kill you." george's eyes stayed glued to his feet.

dream chuckled, "i won't." he smiled at george, who was standing on the board triumphant. "not so bad, huh?" he tried to avoid staring at their entwined hands. the way dream's hands practically wrapped all the way around george's made it hard to speak.

"that wasn't as scary as i thought it was going to be." george glanced up at dream and smiled. his eyes immediately returning to his feet.

"i told you, nothing to be afraid of, i won't let anything bad happen to you." he squeezed george's hands.

dream pulled the man on the board, gaining speed as they settled. george let go of one of dream's hands, sticking it out beside him and closing his eyes, admiring the breeze. dream reached into his pocket to take a picture of the boy, making sure to include their laced hands in the picture. he pocketed the phone before george opened his eyes.

"can i ride you?"

dream stopped pulling, letting george crash into his chest as the words processed in his brain. "what?" he held his breath.

"like on the skateboard, you idiot." george rolled his eyes.

dream tried to hold in his laugh. "i thought you were just being forward."

george scoffed, letting go of dream's hand he turned to walk back into the direction of his apartment. "you're so dumb."

dream laughed for a few seconds stepping onto his board to catch up with george.
