Some time passed, still no sign of Hange.

-

You, while putting your head onto your kneecaps:
"She'll probably be here soon.", you mumbled.

Levi annoyed:
"That freak. If she doesn't arrive soon..."

Levi and you silently sat on the cold stone next to each other.
You in your thoughts:
Levi looks annoyed for being here.

You silently glanced over.
Maybe he's just annoyed of wasting his time. But why did he even agree on joining us?
I'd have to ask Hange later.
He probably only helped with the dress to get out faster.
You couldn't explain it to yourself in another way.
But then again, why did he buy it for me?
You blushed.
This was very kind of him. He didn't even have to.
You blinked, with half of your face hidden under your warm scarf and hair.

With a quick side glance, you observed him.
You asked yourself what he thought about.
Maybe he-

"What are you staring at, brat?" , Levi harshly asked.

"I-uh, nothing, sorry.", you stuttered.
"I... just..."
Your eyes shortly searched for his.
"Just, thank you."

Levi leaned against the wall.
"That's what we came here for.", he bluntly stated.

You smirking:
"You're supposed to say 'you're welcome', idiot."

Levi monotonically:
"Idiot."

You smiled, rolling your eyes:
"No, only 'you're welcome'."
Suddenly his emotionless gaze turned to you and you gasped slightly.

"Like, you're welcome, idiot?"

Your heartbeat was more than just racing at the sight of Levi's face in the night time. His hair now finally looked completely black, and only his grey eyes showed their hidden depth.
Maybe a slight, darkish blue?

No word left your lips as you tried to regain back control over the moment. But you couldn't. He absorbed all of you, probably without intending it.

Quickly, you turned away and cleared your throat, while playing with the material of your shirt.
"Yeah, you're showing progress.", you softly laughed.

He turned away and pushed the bag by his feet carefully to you, his unimpressed eyes pointing at the other side of the street.

You looked at it and softly took the tender dress out. With your fingers, you put it onto your lap and spread the gorgeous piece of clothing carefully out, while its lovely cut still kept the magic it had before.

"Thank you.", you whispered again.

Levi eyed you from the corner of his eye.

This gesture of him taking it for you, made your heart and body feel warm, unlike the dropping temperature outside. With a slight smile, you put the dress back in and hid yourself under your soft scarf again.

After a while, Levi stood up.
"Four eyes won't come."

Your gaze lifted, seeing Levi's look directing towards another street.
With a jolt, you stood on your legs, taking the bag.
