"Heeeyyy, Livaaai!", Hange shouted after dragging you away.
She tore the loaf in her fingers and put a piece into her mouth, as your eyes were finally compelled to look into the ones of Levi again.

You reluctantly sat down with Hange's excited figure right behind you.
"Aaahh, finally we're together again.", she grinned.
"Did you actually see all the embarrassing stuff these people wore yesterday?"
She stared at her piece of bread greedily, before nibbling on it and glancing with a pleased expression right at the agitated Sasha, who was still held back by Armin and Connie.
Hange licked the piece of bread serenely and started slowly consuming it, raising her head innocently into the girl's direction.

In the meantime you avoided even thinking of Levi, who sipped peacefully on his tea.

After a while, you unnoticeably stole a glance to him.
He seems so calm, you thought.

Because he felt watched, he returned the look sceptically, at which you immediately looked away again.

Levi:
"What?"

You nervously turned to him again.
"Excuse me?"

Levi half-lidded:
"What are you staring at?"

You quickly:
"Nothing."

Levi unimpressed:
"..."

You wide-eyed:
"..."

Levi blankly:
"You're acting weird."

"Huh? Why? Noo...", you adverted you gaze as if you didn't know what he meant.

"Hehehehe."
Hange, who had talked over the entire time, snickered beside you.
"Hah! I think I found out what the reason for their clothes is. It's probably their lacking self-worth complex-"

Levi to you:
"What is it?"

You nervously:
"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Are you-"

Hange frowning:
"Hey guys, are you even listening?"
At once you both directed your attention to her.

"Oh.", she gave out.
"Oooh.", she begun slowly smirking.
"I understand..."

Your eyes widened after seeing her expression.
"No, it's not-"

"You want some of Sash- I mean my bread as well.", she closed her eyes pleased.
"Here.", she extended a piece to you and ripped another one for Levi out.

Levi just looked at her hand indifferently.

"Oh no, that's really not necessary.", you shook your hands to decline the offer friendly.

"And what about some water?"
She wanted to take her glass from the edge of the table.

"No, I'm not thirsty, thanks."

She crossed her arms, frowning.
"But you were capable of drinking what Mark gave you at the party."

Levi glared at you from sideways.

You glanced shortly to him, stammering:
"Hange please-"

Hange suspiciously scanned you up and down.
"And that's weird again, because afterwards I didn't see you at all. Where were you actually?"

"I left earlier.", you glimpsed to Levi.
"Kinda."

"Hold up.", Hange's eyes narrowed.
"Shorty, you vanished as well."
Placing a finger on her chin, she started contemplating.

"Hange, come on-", you attempted to hinder her from further talking.

"Wait!", she exclaimed at once, her eyes flickering.
"Did you and Mark went drinking without me?"
