Chapter 79 | Happy Birthday Deku!

Uraraka's Pov.

  "Surprise!" she and everyone else shouted.

  Deku looked so surprised! He looked around at all the decorations and the cake, and smiled.

  "Is all of this... for me?" Deku asked.

  "No, the dense cinnamon roll next to you," Mina told him.

  Deku looked at her really confused.

  "Is it your birthday too?" Deku questioned her.

  Mina slapped her hand to her face.

  "Of course it's for you!" everyone shouted.

  "My birthday's December twenty seventh," Uraraka added.

  "Oh, okay," Deku looked like he took a mental note.

  "Come on!" she pulled Deku by the hand near the cake, "It's your birthday!"

  Uraraka blushed and let go of his hand.

  Deku was blushing too, and he rubbed the back of his head.

  Everyone else just looked really frustrated.

  "Why are you both so dense!?" everyone shouted at them, except Bakugo, who screamed at the top of his lungs,

  "Why the," there was a beep, "are you both so," another beep rang out, "dense!?"

  She was so confused, what were they talking about?

  Uraraka turned to look at Deku, who looked confused too. 

  "Anyway..." Mina looked annoyed, "Let's sing happy birthday."

  They pushed Deku to the cake and sang the lyrics.

  "Happy Birthday to you... Happy Birthday to you... Happy Birthday to-"

  This was when most people sang "Midoriya" but she and Bakugo sang, "Deku", except Bakugo said it in a threatening way.

  "Happy Birthday to you," everyone cheered, and Deku blew out the candles.

  "What did you wish for?" everyone asked.

  "I was supposed to make a wish?" Deku looked confused.

  That was when everyone fell over and some people looked like they were about to tear the room apart.

  "We have to do it again!" Mina yelled.

  "Yeah!" everyone else agreed.

  "But I don't need to make a wish..." Deku told them.

  Everyone's eyes looked at him, pressuring him.

  "Okay, okay! Fine!" Deku waved his hands in front of his face nervously.

  Todoroki lit the candles again.

  After they sang again, Deku blew out the candles.

  "What did you wish for?" everyone asked again.

  "I wished that all of you would stop being so weird around Uraraka and I, even if it only lasts a day..." Deku admitted.

   'It's a good wish, but Ttoo bad he told everyone...'

  "That's not going to happen!" everyone laughed, well, everyone except Uraraka.

  "Why not?" Deku looked really confused.

  Mina walked over and put an arm around Deku. It made her jealous...

  "Well, if you tell even one person your wish, it won't come true," Mina told him.
