Chapter 32 | Karaoke

Deku's Pov.

  "Who's ready for truth or dare!" Mina shouted.

  'Not again!'

  Deku was already fazed from seeing Uraraka in that weird outfit, but truth or dare? No way...

  "No!" Deku and Uraraka yelled in unison with the same expression and red on their face.

  'I'm glad she feels the same way...'

  "Then Twister?" she tried.

  "No" they both shouted together again.

  "Okay fine. My last offer is Karaoke," Mina nodded like she was making a good bargain.

  'I don't think I've ever done that before... Maybe it won't end up like Twister or Truth or Dare...'

  They both sighed and at the same time said, "Okay..."

  "Why are they getting so emotional about Truth or Dare and Twister? Did something happen last time?" Kaminari asked.

  Kirishima started laughing really hard, but after a glare from both Deku and Uraraka he just started chuckling awkwardly until he cleared his throat and said, "You should have seen what happened..."

  "What happened?" the yellow haired boy prodded deeper.

  "I'll tell you later..."

  They all headed inside and got changed out of their bathing suits to get ready for Karaoke, and Yaoyorozu started leading them to a room she thought would be good for the activity.

  "So... Um..." Deku started talking to Uraraka awkwardly with heat rushing to us face, "Why did you change into the cheer leading uniform Mineta and Kaminari tricked you and the other girls into wearing at the sports festival?"

  Uraraka blushed and started twisting her hair on her pointer finger.

  "Mina pushed me away from everyone and then shoved me into a room where she forced me to change into it, and then she also made me cheer for you again... I was cheering for you earlier and then she did that and..." Uraraka trailed off.

  Yaoyorozu opened a door revealing a room with a bunch of chairs and a stage.

  "Wow!"

  "Cool!"

  "You have so many rooms and buildings that you keep secret from us..."

  "Since when did you have some kind of Karaoke room?"

  "I can't wait to sing!"

  "Fabulous!" You could tell it was Aoyama because he ran up to the stage and started "Sparkling" as he would call it.

  Yaoyorozu stepped up on the stage.

  "We're going to start with one person performances," she told everyone, "then we can move on to duets!"

  Everyone nodded.

  "Who wants to go for one person performances?" she continued, holding a a notepad.

  Everyone who wanted to go said so.

  "Anyone else?" Yaoyorozu asked.

  "Ochaco does!" Ashido shouted.

  'Did she even agree to this..?'

  "Okay, Ochaco," she wrote it down.'

  "What song?" Yaoyorozu questioned

  "I don't-" she was cut off.

  "I have a good song," Hakagure answered, "It's a surprise."

  'I can't believe that her friends just pushed her into the deep end like that... No, they continuously throw her in the deep end like that...'

  Everyone began singing their songs.

  They were all pretty good, but then it was Uraraka's turn...

  She walked up on the stage nervously, she was shaking a little bit...

Uraraka's Pov.

  When her friends volunteered her to sing, she didn't know what she felt, her emotions were mixed up.

  But now, as she was walking on the stage, her feelings cleared up a bit, and she was scared... Uraraka didn't really want to sing... but she didn't want to disappoint either... So she decided to just go along with it...

  Uraraka's legs wobbled as she got to the microphone.

  Taking a deep breath, she looked at the song was and blushed harder.

  Of course Uraraka had heard it before, but she never thought she had to sing it in front of a crowd! She felt heat rush to her face.

  She took a deep breath again and started the song.

  Her friends had been back up singers... They meant for this to happen...

  She even saw Toru and Mina high five!

  Uraraka looked over to Deku nervously, hoping he didn't know what the song meant...

  He gave her a thumbs up, and then Kirishima, who was sitting next to him whispered something, and then Deku turned red and got flustered, waving his hands in front of his face.

  She got off the stage and sat down next to Deku where she was sitting before and the blush stayed there.
