"That was amazing" I compliment Jake when he is done. I felt so sad. I felt like he was singing it to me. Maybe I'm just exaggerating. Its Karaoke and not some romantic love song.
"Are you sure I didn't sound like a croaking toad?" He asks amused and I laugh
"No you didn't silly" I reply ruffling his soft blond hair.
"On the contrary, I thought you were Justin Beiber himself. You sounded a little bit like him"
Jake shrugs.
"Its fun though! I never thought of singing." He replies.
"Its your turn now"
I sigh and clutch my phone.
"Okay lemme look through and get another song"
"What about we singing together?" Jake suggests and I smile at the thought.
"I don't know how that will sound" I reply giggling a bit.
"Let's give it a shot!"
He picks his iPhone and looks through it for a song. I also look for my next song.

Jake and I just stare at each other when the song comes to an end and I'm melting right now. We sounded so nice together and it was just so romantic.
"That was beautiful" Jake finally says after gazing at me for ten minutes.
"Yeah it was"
Then I find myself yawning.
"Why don't you go to bed?"
"I don't wanna go" I tell him
"I'm proud of you! You gave up your fears about singing and you sounded great" I compliment.
"Thanks. Any reward for me?" Jake asks with a smile.
"Come here" I say and hug him. After the hug we just sat there talking and playing truth or dare.

My eyes snap open when I feel something trace my lips. Jake quickly jerks his finger away and blushes a bit. I yawn looking around. Its morning. Friday morning to be precise and I'm still in Jake's apartment. I remember the Karaoke we had yesterday. It was fun and it later turned out to be a romantic one and I loved it.
"Good morning" I say trying to be courteous.
"Morning" Jake replies with a smile.
"You didn't sleep?" I ask whiles stretching and he shakes his head.
"I couldn't. I ended up watching you sleep all night" he replies and my stomach churns.
