I opened my eyes slowly when I regained my consciousness. I found myself in Orion’s arms. But we were running again.

When my eyes met his, I saw concern in his face. He was looking at me intently and I might drown if I continue staring at those beautiful silver orbs. Kaya umiwas ako ng tingin sa kanya. The slight movement made my head ache and I regretted it afterwards.

“You shouldn’t have left them alone,” rinig kong komento ni Raiden na nasa aming harapan. Orion gritted his teeth at the other guy.

“I know. It’s my fault.” Orion sounded guilty. I only managed to give him an understanding look. I was too tired to even speak.

“This is all your fault. You led us into a trap,” bulyaw ulit ni Raiden.

“It’s no use of crying over spilled milk. But we all learned a lesson because of what happened earlier. Starting now, we should always stick together and make sure that no one gets left behind. We need to guard our backs and be careful of the people whom we trust,” payo naman sa amin ni Ophelia. Natahimik naman si Raiden dahil doon.

But I sensed a hidden message in what she said.

She was with Ophelia now. But fear entered my heart again because the moment I looked at the latter, I remembered the person who hit me. It was her.

I didn’t know why she did it. But I must be wary of my actions. I need to talk to her later.

But I really saw Ophelia holding that huge rock. Hindi ako pwedeng magkamali.

“How are you feeling now, Blaire? But one of my creatures arrived to stop the knight from hurting you again,” wika naman ni Ophelia sa akin. I wanted to believe her but I just can’t.

“Stop asking questions. Let her rest for now.” His tone was sharp when he said those words.

“Looks like someone is overprotective,” mahinang wika ni Ophelia. Raiden scowled at Orion afterwards. Hindi na lang umimik ulit ang huli.

“Okay, I hope you sleep well, Blaire. As my adviser, I need you to get well soon,” sabi naman ni Ophelia bago ulit sila tumahimik. I hope that I’m not being a burden to them right now.

But I couldn’t sleep anymore. We were in good terms last night.

Then I remembered that Lady Mirage insulted her and compared her with me. Was that enough motive for her to kill me?

I don’t want to doubt her. But he was a traitor. So was it possible that he was lying to us the entire time?

Why would the offspring of the Maxime Clan bore the flair of the deity that caused chaos and darkness to reign in Terrazia?

We were still on the move but I looked around us when we halted.
