66.

The entire time I sat at my desk I couldn't stop staring at my ring. I just knew I'd be the last person on earth standing before I got proposed to.

I need to get focused on scheduling this viewing for my parents because they've been waiting, I've just been basking in my own glow.

I finally got my head out of the clouds and got back to my work.

"Did you complete the form for your other client, India?" My boss asked

"Yes, I did. It'll be ready shortly, I'm just correcting some information." I said

I continued my task again. I don't get off until 5 and it's only 12—I miss my kids and my man, 5 can't come quick enough.

I decided to shoot Chris a text to see how he was holding up with watching Ai'marie for relatively the first time. Every other time these past few days, my mom has been there to where he wasn't completely alone to do everything himself.

Chris♥️: she actually sleep right now.

Chris♥️: I did forget how to put a diaper on though I think I got it on backwards.

Chris♥️: I don't know how I did that though but everything is fine.

My phone started ringing right after I sent the text over and I seen Lauren was calling, 

"Hey, girl." 

"India, I know you're at work but I just have a quick question!" she frantically said

"Yeah, what is it?" 

"Okay, so I was driving far out to go pick my mom up some fabric samples from her designer and I rode pass this house that caught my attention because the police was surrounding it, I stopped to be nosy and the woman they were walking out seemed to look like Chris's mom, she doesn't happen to live somewhere out here on Clifton Road does she?" she asked

"I mean I never knew where she lived at but her staying somewhere far makes sense, did it look like her? Like did you get a good look?" I asked

"It definitely did, but the police begin directing traffic after so many people started slowing down so I couldn't park and look but I'm almost sure it was her." she said 

"I'm about to circle back around though and see if they're still out there, stay on the phone" she added

I pressed the speaker icon on my phone while I continued to work and wait on her to tell me what she seen. I don't want my boss coming back in here inquiring about a document I was suppose to been turned in. 

I was filling in the last of the information for my potential client and heading to my printer but stopped when I heard Lauren start talking again. 

"Oh.My.God...." she said

"What? What happened?" 

"They're rolling out a black body bag from the house and that is indeed Joyce in the backseat of the police car." she said

I put my papers down and my eyes grew big as I processed what she was saying to me.

"I wonder is that Sabrina..." I said 

"I wonder, too—okay I'm moving!" 

"Who are you talking to?"

"The police, trying to direct everybody to move along."
