Hello! This is my First really One-Shot that I did, and it was published who knows when, I don't really know, ok?

[ you, link and Illia are 10 ]

"Hey! Link!" You smiled as you grabbed your friend's hand, trying to pull him up from where he was sitting.

"(Y/N), let go of my armmm" he mumbled as he tried to break free of your grasp.

"But i wanna play tag with Illia and the others! Daddy says that if we don't play together today, then I would regret it or something.." You told him with a saddened frown.

He then got up and poked your shoulder, "YOUR IT!"

"H-Hey!" You said, soon chasing after him.

You played tag until it was sunset, taking really long breaks in between.

"(Y/N)!" Your father called out from his horse.

You ran over to him with a big smile, "Yes daddy?"

"I need you to come inside, I need to tell you something."

You nodded, then waving at Link and the others, "Lets play with again tomorrow!"

You smiled as you walked into your house with your father.

[ present day, you link and Illia are 17-ish ]

Link walked into castle town with his horse, eagerly looking for something, more specifically, someone.

He hopped off his horse, running around and asking people in castle town if they knew you.

"(Y/N)? I've never heard of that woman. Must be a low life child." Some older woman spoke.

"(Y/N)..? I've never heard about her. If she foreign?" Other people said.

He finally asked some children, who probably knew who he was talking about.

He walked up to a young boy, and knelt down so that he could make eye contact with him.

Link tapped his shoulder, "um, excuse me, do you know who (Y/N) is?"

The child's eyes lit up, "(Y/N)? Yes of corse I know her! She's so sweet. Here, I'll show you where she is!" He smiled, then started to run off in some random direction, Link following him.

He stopped at a street that was empty, one where no one really walked through that much.

"(Y/N)! Some person in green and a pointy hat wants to see you!" The child told you, a smile forming on his face.

"Ok, thank you Dylan!" You smiled at the young boy, patting his head softly.

You were sitting down, so you stood up and brushed the dirt off your ragged clothes.

"(Y/N).. What happened to you?" Link muttered softly.

"Hmm..?"

He ran towards you and gave you a hug, which made you slightly confused.

"I wouldn't be surprised if you forgot, it was about 7 years ago when you left." He muttered

Your eyes widened, as you then tightened the hug. "L-Link?!"

He let go of the hug, and then looked into your (e/c) eyes, then smiled.

"Yep, it's me."

You smiled brightly and cried softly, "I've missed you."

"I've missed you too. But promise me we'll stay together ok?"

He then grabbed your chin and kissed your forehead, then pulling you into another hug.
