I definitely gotta get her back, the fuck she sharing a room with her mama and her boyfriend for? No telling who this nigga is. Let anything be going on wit' my daughter while she over there, I'm blowing the whole house up.

"Does either parents have anything to say?" The judge asked

"I rest my case." Sabrina said and sat back in her chair

"I would like to speak." I said, and stood.

"Royalty is my babygirl, she has been with me for years. Of course I may not be home all the time because I have to work to provide for us, but when I'm at home I make sure she's fed, and taken care of. She's not around any substances and she loves it there. She's used to me, it's like she's with a stranger while she's with Sabrina— she doesn't even know that Sabrina's her mother..." I paused

"That's all I have" I said and sat down

The judge stared and nodded, "We have another hearing set in two weeks, I'll have my decision by then." The judge said

I glanced at Sabrina as we gathered our things before heading out.

"I think it went really well, she had no real evidence as to why Royalty should be with her, I think we got this." My lawyer said as we walked out.

"Daddy!" I heard as we walked out

I snapped my neck in the direction of the voice so fast, "Royalty!" I said and she ran to me and gave me the biggest hug. I didn't know she was here, I looked up and there was my mom.

Fuck her.

"Daddy when can I come home? Mommy is so mean." She whined

I observed her outfit and her face.

Scratch below her eye, hair a mess, outfit looked too small for her, the fuck is going on over there?

"Look what mommy did.." she said and pointed to a mark on her arm.

Sent me over the top.

"Come on baby." Sabrina said and pulled her out of my arms

I could tell she wanted to cry as her "mom" adjusted her in her arms.

"The hell you got my daughter into over there? You been beating on her?" I asked, taking off my blazer that went with my suit. I was about to knock her ass out right here.

Her lawyer intervened between her and I.

"Chris, don't be stupid.. no, matter of fact please do, so that'll give the judge more so of a reason to give her to me." She smirked

My mom grabbed Royalty out of Sabrina's arms and walked off.

"You only wanted her so you could have leverage over me, you don't know shit about taking care of no child. It's okay though Sabrina, I'm not about to show out here—it's all good." I said and grabbed my blazer and stormed out

My lawyer started talking but I tuned him out.

My whole drive home I cried out tears of frustration.
