"Yeah, most definitely. Well, the lil' food section at the far end, and then it's like a lil part upstairs— it's for "chillin.." , you know, if you got a lil' drink and you wanna chill but don't wanna be around all these damn people. Ain't no smoking allowed up there though, so you can take yo' food up there, listen to the music and you should be good. Glad you came, enjoy." Dre explained

"Thank you. So, Lauren, you know where to find me." I said

"Definitely do. I'll be checkin' on you." She said

"Alright, boo. Don't get too lit." I teased, although I know that's not in her vocabulary.

I went to the food area and observed the selected food the menu provided.

"Ready?" The server asked

"Yes.." I said, glancing over the menu again.

I ordered a few things and passed over my cash.

"Thank you." I said, once the food was ready. I grabbed my closed in tray and headed up the stairs.

His friend did really well with putting this entire club together. The best part is the food! Majority of clubs I've been to have food but it's either nasty or it's food that I wouldn't typically eat. There's even a non-smoking section, and once again- referring back to previous clubs, they typically don't have a non-smoking area, the place is just filled with the smoke from weed.

I found a spot on a love seat in the corner. There were a few people in her casually talking, but I didn't want any parts in them or their conversation.

"You here alone?" A guy asked

Oh, he's cute!

I wiped my mouth with my napkin, "If you're asking if I came alone, then no. If you're asking if I'm up here by myself, then yes." I replied

"Mind if I keep you company?" He asked

"I don't mind." I said and he sat down beside me.

"So, why are you up here with-" he paused and observed me and what I was eating, "some food and no drink." He asked

I sighed, "I'm not in the drinking mood tonight, I just wanted to get out of the house."

"I could definitely understand that, you look good tonight." He said

"Thanks." I said and flashed a fake smile.

It grew awkwardly silent.

"Well, my name is Kevin. I came here to support the owner, he's my uncle. I too didn't plan on taking a drink tonight, I actually didn't plan on coming out but I wanted to support my unc. I'm glad I ran into such a beautiful lady, though." He smirked

"Thank you, I appreciate it. Your uncle did really well with piecing this place together and bringing the people out." I said

"I'll be sure to let him in on your compliment, people have been complimenting this place since they've walked in here..."

He continued to talk but I zoned out for a second once I seen Chris come up the stairs with a tray in hand. Luckily he didn't spot me, and he ended up sitting at the bar table in a stool with his back faced me.
