Summer vacation started a week ago and I'm already leaving lucy behind to go on tour once again, I feel so bad. I always leave her, why does she still stay with me? I was leaving at 3am and the two of us are spending as much time together as possible. Her legs swung below us on the dock. "so when's the wedding?" She sighs "the night you're back in Minnesota, it's like it worked out perfectly. Hopefully you can make it" I nod looking at her "I think I can make it" she takes her attention away from the red sky and turning me "I hope so I need to see you before I'm alone with my new stepsister for a week" I chuckle "she isn't that bad" she shakes her head "she's not except she has a big crush on my best friend" she tilts her head back and leans it on my shoulder, I smile at her "well maybe you can set them up" she jokingly rolls her eyes "he's kind of an ass" I nudge her "I agree" she picks her head up and for a split second I thought she was gonna kiss me. "Jonah" I tilt my head a little "Lucy?" She sighs and turns her body towards me. "Sing to me" I smile "sing to you?" She nods and sticks her bottom lip out, gosh she looked amazing when dhe did that. "pleaseee you're leaving me it's the least you could do" I smile and get close to her face "it's just for you" she smiles "yeah and all your fans" I shake my head "no this song is just for you" she smiles wide and grabs her phone. She opens up the voice memos and waits for me to start she clicks record and i begin to sing to her.
