I grab my suitcase throwing it into the trunk. My mom does the same and smiles at me, I hate this. Jonah walks over to me wrapping his arms around me "you'll be fine, just text me okay?" I nod "I don't want to go, we were suppose to have a fun summer and now I'm leaving to spend time with someone I don't even know" he kissed my cheek "Lucy its okay, just text me, call me, face time me. I'll be here okay. I'll miss you I'll see you in a month" I sigh and kiss his cheek "okay Jonah, I'll miss you too" he smiles and winks "I know you will" I roll my eyes playfully. "Yea scratch that" he chuckles and hugs me once again. "Bye Lucy" I frown and he opens my door for me "such a gentlemen " he smiles and winks again. "bye Jonah" he waves goodbye as the car pulls away onto the country road. Bing

I sigh and pull my bag out of the trunk. My mom grabs her bag still with smile plastered on her face. "Will you smile, it isn't that bad. You're going to Hawaii Lucy" I huff "ya mom im going to Hawaii with a guy I don't even know. So much fun!" She rolls her eyes and walks into the airport "he isn't a stranger" I catch up to her "yes mom, yes he is. I have no clue who he is. He may not be a stranger to you but he is to me" we check our bags in and wait for our flight to be called. "You're being dramatic Lucy, I finally met someone that actually loves me. At least give him a chance. " yea at least give him chance, them I'll get attached then he'll leave like my dad. Leave us all alone by yourself to go run off with a younger woman. I wanted to say that aloud but my mom would be angry with me so I kept quiet.
