#141 "Fake Zero"

Jeonghan's Pov

A week ago, I was walking around the park near the Pledis Building. As I was enjoying the view, a man from afar that seemed familiar claimed my attention.

"Zero?" I mumbled out of recognition.

I took off my mask and about to greet him.But his clothes; plain white loose shirt and old style jeans made me stopped. That was odd. The Zero I know is a fashionable guy.

He and I met our gazes. However even though I gave him a sweet smile as his sunbaenim, he looked away and I thought he completely ignored me.

"What an ignorant kid. I must teach him a lesson!" I declared inside my mind.

And so I pick up my pace, thinking how will I punish that disgraceful junior I have. But I got hit in head by a ball.

"Bang~!"

The impact was so hard, I fell down on the ground with my face flat first.

That's how I realized the main spelling of the word: "E.M.B.A.R.A.S.S.I.N.G"

"Are you okay?" someone asked me while I was still on the ground. The voice itself, made me calm down. It was as sweet as honey, and soft like the pillow I used to hug every night.

I looked up, expecting to see a cute girl in front. But I was surprised to see Zero's face smiling at me!

I sat up, pointing him with my trembling hand. "Y-You...W-why? Your voice is...is... " I stuttered.

"Oh? Your nose is bleeding!" The person who has a face like Zero, but with a woman-like voice gasped.

This person... is not Zero. Who is she? Who is this person who has those pretty eyes, silky short hair, big breast beneath her shirt and kissable lips that made me gulped?

"Here, use this to wipe your nose," she said while offering her  yellow handkerchief.

But because I was still in dazed, I just stared at her in amazement, as if I saw a ghost.

"Weird," she mumbled as she wiped the blood on my nose.

My heart skipped a beat before it pounded really hard! Dugeun~ Dugeun~.

"Zero," I muttered that made her stopped.

"Huh? You know my brother?" she asked.

"Brother? Wait. Zero has a sister?! But I saw his records before! It says that he doesn't have any relatives at all!" I shouted inside my mind.

"Ahh, hehe," she chuckled as she scratched her nape. "You must be shock because Zero Oppa and I have the same face. Well.. yeah, we are twin brother-sister, identical twin to be exact."

Twin...sister.

The Zero I know is a cold-hearted person who has his own world. He is a famous soloist trainee preparing to debut as an idol to the Pledis Agency, the entertainment I am currently working at. Practically speaking, I am his senior, but he never treated me like one. That's why, I used to bullied him and made all of his trainee day like hell. I hate him. I really do hate him. But...

"If you are friends with my brother, don't tell him that you met me okay?" she asked. And then she put her hand at the top of my head, gently petting me. "Also, please take care of my brother. He seems cold but he had a lot of scars. So yeah, hehe. Bye!"

After that words... she walked away.

How can a sweet sister like her exist?

I lifted my right hand and held my chest. My heart was still beating so hard! I can't help but to smile after a long sigh.

"That woman... huh. The first woman who made me realized that 'love at first sight' do exist is... Zero's twin sister."

Now, a week passed by.

That woman still lingered inside my mind. But I can't have a courage to ask his brother about her. I still have a pride. Besides, It will be weird if I suddenly act kind to the kid I was bullying before. Ah, I also made a promise to her that I won't tell to Zero that I met her.

Still...

I need to know her name. Just her name is enough.

Another day passed by.

As I am walking to the Pledis hallway, I saw someone standing in front of our leader, Scoups.

Suddenly, my heart beats faster!

"W-Why h-hyung? Are you upset?" the person asked to Scoups.

T-That voice. I knew that voice! Could it be...?! Eyy no way.

"Don't come closer!" Scoups yelled while breathing heavily as he held his chest. "This is weird," he muttered. "how can a man made my heart beats so fast? Ahhhrgh! Maybe I am still drunk. Yeah yeah yeah, Scoups, you are just drunk. Calm down. You had an urge to kiss his lips because you are drunk. Ahah ahah, HAHAHAHA! I-I n-need to go dongsaeng. Bye!" he bid goodbye and run away.

I got it.

I got what's happening, and I felt excitement all over my body.

"That Scoups is so weird," that person acting like Zero mumbled.

"You are the weird one," I said. She looked back and met my eyes.

Looking left and right, she pointed myself. "Are you talking to me?"

I looked at her from head to toe before letting out a smirk. "Based on your words, it seems like you didn't know that I am your sunbaenim too, Jeonghan sunbaenim. Did you lost your memories?"

I started to walk closer with my heart beating so fast. As I stood in front of her and her head automatically went down. And so I liftedher chin with my hand, and I found out again how cute she is.

"You are the weird one," I whispered.

"H-Huh?"

"A girl acting like a boy," I said.

Her eyes widened and I can feel her getting all weak. She must be scared that I found her acting like his twin brother. Not knowing my true intentions at all.

And so I knelt down in front of her and held her hand. "Don't worry, I'll be your knight, my princess," I whispered before kissing the back of her hand.

That's how the love story between her and the 13 members inluding  me, has finally begun.
