In the grand halls of the imperial palace, a symphony of activity unfurled in preparation for the momentous occasion—the wedding of Empress Yves and Emperor Consort Elion. From the crack of dawn until the twilight hours, artisans, craftsmen, and servants toiled tirelessly to ensure every aspect of the celebration was perfect. In the chambers reserved for the bride, Empress Yves sat upon a gilded chair, her presence commanding yet serene. A team of handmaidens attended to her, their delicate fingers weaving strands of pearls into her lustrous ebony hair. Each pearl gleamed in the soft light of the chamber, a testament to the opulence befitting an empress. Yves's gown, a masterpiece of silk and lace, flowed around her like a river of moonlight, adorned with delicate embroidery depicting scenes of love and prosperity. The neckline dipped gracefully, revealing a hint of her collarbones, while the train trailed behind her like a silken river.Meanwhile, in the chambers designated for the groom, Emperor Consort Elion stood before a full-length mirror, his reflection a portrait of regal splendor. Attendants flitted around him, adjusting the intricate folds of his ceremonial robes and ensuring every detail was immaculate. His attire, a symphony of deep burgundy and gold, bore the emblem of his house—a majestic lion rampant upon a field of crimson velvet. Elion's expression remained stoic, yet beneath the surface, a torrent of emotions roiled—a mixture of excitement, anticipation, and perhaps, a hint of nervousness. As the day progressed, the palace grounds underwent a transformation akin to magic. Gardeners meticulously tended to every flower bed, coaxing blooms of vibrant hues to life. Streams of water danced merrily through marble fountains, their tinkling laughter echoing off the stone walls. Decorations of gold and silver adorned every corner, casting the palace in a resplendent glow.In the heart of the palace, the grand hall awaited the arrival of the betrothed couple. Crystal chandeliers hung from the vaulted ceiling, casting a warm, golden light upon the assembled guests. Rows of gilded chairs lined either side of the aisle, each adorned with cushions of the finest silk.

                        | AELIA'S POV |
Amongst all the preparations, I found myself in the quaint chambers of the imperial palace, preparing for the grand event—the imperial wedding I had been graciously invited to attend. Excitement coursed through my veins as I meticulously selected my attire for the occasion. Despite the short misdemeanor that happened to be Chloette stealing my outfit, I happened to be saved by Celestia.
With the assistance of Nora and the other maids, I sifted through my extensive wardrobe, each gown a testament to her impeccable taste and refined elegance. There it was. My eyes finally settled upon the gown of azure satin, adorned with delicate lace and shimmering with tiny beads like droplets of morning dew. The neckline dipped gracefully, accentuating my slender frame, while the skirt billowed out in cascades of fabric that trailed behind her like a river in full bloom.

As I slipped into the gown, Aelia felt a surge of confidence wash over her, my reflection in the mirror a vision of timeless beauty. My blonde locks were woven into an intricate braid, adorned with jewels that sparkled like stars in the night sky. My eyes, the color of grey moonstones, shimmered with excitement as she imagined the grandeur of the imperial palace and the festivities that awaited me.
Cassis, who was equally dressed to impress, took my hand and we made our way across the palace where the splendour awaited us.
"You look spectacular." Argentie who met us on the way uttered in awe.
"Thank you Argentie you look stunning yourself."
It was then my words stopped in their tracks.
Before me was Chloette. Her dress was the same as I remembered. The dress she blatantly stole.
When Chloette's vile plan unravels and the dress she attempted to sabotage turns out stunning, her face contorts in a mix of fury and disbelief. Her normally sweet and innocent eyes widen, flickering with a dangerous blend of anger and frustration as she beholds the unexpected elegance of my attire. Her perfectly arched eyebrows knit together into a menacing scowl, casting dark shadows over her piercing gaze. Her lips, usually curled into a charming smile, press into a thin, bloodless line, trembling with barely contained rage. Her cheeks flush with a sharp, crimson hue, betraying the depth of her fury. Every muscle in her face tightens, creating a mask of malevolent intensity that radiates her seething resentment and the bitter sting of her thwarted ambition.
I couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. Walking past her I leaned close to her close enough to smell her cotton candy like her and whispered to her what only her ears could decipher. "Seems like your spite has only made me shine brighter Lady Chloette, next time put in more effort. Such cliché tactics are miserably predictable."
With her hands rigorously clenched by her side she glared daggers into me.

At last, the moment arrived. With a fanfare of trumpets, the doors to the grand hall swung open, revealing Empress Yves resplendent in her bridal attire. Gasps of awe rippled through the crowd as she glided down the aisle, her steps measured yet graceful. Her eyes shone with a radiant light as they locked with Elion's, the love between them palpable even from a distance. As the ceremony unfolded, vows were exchanged beneath the watchful gaze of the gods, their blessings invoked upon the union of two souls. The empress and her emperor consort spoke words of love and devotion, promising to stand by each other through all the trials and triumphs that lay ahead. And as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the sky ablaze with hues of pink and gold, the celebrations commenced in earnest. Banquets were laid out with dishes fit for royalty, musicians played melodies that stirred the soul, and dancers twirled in a kaleidoscope of colors. The palace reverberated with laughter and merriment, a testament to the joy that filled the hearts of all who bore witness to this momentous occasion. For Empress Yves and Emperor Consort Elion, this was not just a wedding—it was a symbol of unity, of strength, and of the enduring power of love. And as they stood together, hand in hand, beneath a canopy of stars, they knew that their bond would withstand the test of time, guiding their empire into a future filled with hope and prosperity.
Looking at my side I find Argentie tearing up. Though she always undermines their relationship, her and Yves are still as close as ever and the genuine happiness Argentie is currently showing can't even be hidden by her smart replies. After greeting the newlyweds the guests flooded out of the hall for the additional festivities.

The northern port bustled with activity as Aelia, Cassis, and their entourage approached the docks. The cool sea breeze carried the scent of salt and the distant cries of seagulls, a stark contrast to the fragrant, flower-filled air of the royal wedding just days before.

Aelia, adorned in a deep blue travel cloak that shimmered like the ocean, walked with an air of regal grace. Cassis, ever the vigilant protector, stayed close by her side, his eyes scanning the surroundings for any potential threats. His dark hair ruffled slightly in the wind, and he kept a firm but gentle hand on the hilt of his sword.

Their entourage followed in a well-organized formation, a mix of royal guards, Dean, Nora and Clora, all dressed in travel attire. The guards' armor clinked softly with each step. The docks were a hive of activity. Sailors shouted orders as they loaded crates and barrels onto ships, merchants haggled over prices, and travelers hurried to and fro, eager to set sail or disembark. The ship bound for Troevrlt, a majestic vessel named The Azure Maiden, stood out among the others. Its sails were pristine white, emblazoned with the royal crest in gold, and its polished wooden decks gleamed in the midday sun.

Aelia paused for a moment, taking in the sight. "It's beautiful," she murmured to Cassis, her eyes reflecting the sunlight off the water.

As they approached the gangplank, the ship's captain, a stern yet respectful man with a neatly trimmed beard, stepped forward and bowed deeply. "Your Highness,, it is an honor to have you aboard The Azure Maiden. We are ready to set sail at your command."

Aelia nodded graciously. "Thank you, Captain. We are eager to begin our journey."

The captain gestured towards the gangplank. "Please, allow me to assist you aboard."

One by one, the entourage began to board the ship. Aelia and Cassis were the last to ascend, pausing at the top of the gangplank to look back at the port. The sight of the bustling harbor filled Aelia with a mix of excitement and melancholy. She knew that the journey ahead would be filled with challenges, but with Cassis by her side, she felt ready to face whatever lay ahead.

As the ship's crew made final preparations, Aelia and Cassis moved to the prow of the ship, looking out over the vast expanse of ocean. The sails unfurled with a snap, catching the wind, and The Azure Maiden began to glide smoothly away from the dock.
Cassis took Aelia's hand in his, his grip warm and reassuring.
