After the five-hour ride, it was already evening when we arrived at the residence.

Vluyner Lodgings is a newly established hotel for travelling nobles.
It's being run by Count Bellum also known as Cassis's fake dad.

                  •FLASHBACK

"How did you manage to get Ashton's identity?"

"From Count Bellum, his father."

"How did you convince him though? I'm sure he didn't willingly give up his son's identity to a total stranger."

"Let's just say I'm sort of his benefactor."

"Benefactor?"

"Quit prying and focus on developing the new scent."

               •END OF FLASHBACK •

Looking back on the talk I had with Cassis in the greenhouse made me pounder on how he got Ashton's identification.

'Tsk, it still hurts.'
I could still feel the flick he left on my forehead.

I glared at the dozed off Cassis whose head was on my shoulder.

"Wake up we're here."
I said pinching his soft unblemished cheeks.

"Good evening to you too."
He rubbed his now rosy red cheek as he spoke lazily. His soft voice felt drowsy which added to his night owl aesthetic.

I got out of the carriage carrying a sleeping Esterlina in my arms, Cassis sluggishly followed behind with both Zadira and Zade in his arms.

Ding!

"Welcome! How may I help you."

"Reservations under Aelia De Lian."

All the employees present in the lobby immediately tensed.

"Of course your Highness!, I'll have some of our employees escort you and your group to your rooms which are located on the second floor."

Their stiff formalities were felt throughout the whole building.

"That would be lovely."
They seemed to have loosened up a bit at my calm reaction.

The receptionist had his head bowed low throughout our talk.

'He's going to get cervical spondylosis if this continues.'

"You can raise your head."

"Ah yes! Hyuk!"

"Y Y -Young Master!"
The poor guy shrieked after noticing Cassis.

"Stop being noisy and go back to work."

"Yessir!"

"What did you do to the employees here? They seem terrified."

"You're soo quick to blame me."

Our whispering earned a bunch of glances from the passing by guests and employees.
