A week later, a rickshaw arrived at the front gate of the Matsumoto Estate it was the day that Sayuri was going to live with Hiro and his family. Hiro and Nanami came out to greet her and Jiro, they were both wearing wide smiles on their faces and Jiro was carrying a small box in his hands.

"Welcome to your new home Sayuri," Hiro said, hugging her and kissing her on the cheek.

"Thank you, my love," Sayuri said, blushing slightly. She turned to her brother and took the small box from him. "What's this?"

"Oh, that's just a little something I thought you might need," Jiro replied with a smile. "Open it up."

Sayuri did as she was told, carefully unwrapping the box to reveal a beautiful, intricately carved wooden comb. "It's beautiful," she breathed, looking up at Jiro in awe. "Thank you, Brother."

The Rickshaw driver unloads Sayuri's belongings including her Yakata's, Kimono's and other items.

Jiro and Hiro help take them to Sayuri's bedroom where she will be staying until the wedding.

The bedroom was bigger than the old guest room that she normally used wherever she came here.

Sayuri couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotion as she saw her belongings being unloaded from the rickshaw.

"I've been looking forward to this day for so long," she confessed to Hiro and Jiro as they helped her carry her things into her new room. "I'm so grateful to be part of your family now."

As they set her belongings down on the tatami mat floor, Jiro gave her a reassuring smile. "You've always been part of our family, Sayuri. Hiro and I may not have always treated you as kindly as we could have, but that's all in the past now. From now on, you're going to be the most important person in this household."

Sayuri blushed at his words, feeling a lump forming in her throat.

The room was painted in soft pastel colours, with a large picture window overlooking the garden. The tatami mats were freshly laid, and the futon was covered in crisp white sheets. On the low table near the window sat a vase of fresh flowers, a small tea set, and a few delicate candles, the bathroom was connected to the room, and it had a nice wooden bathtub, It was a lovely space, and Sayuri couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over her

Hiro and Jiro put her clothes in her new drawers. Once everything was in its place, they all took a step back to admire the room.

"It's perfect," Sayuri whispered, "This is your room until our wedding and as well our new house is ready, so you don't have to move anything unless you want to," Hiro said. She smiled shyly at them, her heart full of gratitude.

Hiro asked them to follow him to see his and Sayuri's new house that is in progress, it was only a few blocks away from the estate.

When they arrived at the site, they were greeted by a bustling scene of construction workers, carpenters, and masons hard at work building the new house. The foundation had already been laid, and the frame of the house was beginning to take shape.

"It should be done before our wedding," Hiro said proudly, looking at the construction site.

Sayuri still can't believe that Hiro decided to build a new house just for them, it was large enough for them and their future family.

"Let's head back lunch should be ready," Hiro said to his brother and Sayuri. They all walk back to the Matsumoto estate for lunch. Once there, the servants had set up a beautiful table in the garden, with fresh flowers. Momo, Nanami and Chika were at the table waiting for their food. They waved at Sayuri, Hiro and Jiro as they approached.

"How are you girls doing?" Hiro asked as he sat down with them.

"We're doing well," Momo replied, "Just enjoying the beautiful day." She glanced over at Sayuri and gave her a warm smile. "It's so nice to have you here with us, Sayuri.

Nanami nodded in agreement.

As they ate their lunch, the conversation flowed easily between them all. Hiro and Jiro discussed business matters, while Momo, Nanami and Chika chatted about the latest gossip. Sayuri found herself feeling more and more at ease with them,

"I almost forgot we have an invitation for the spring dance festival next week," Momo said, "Thats right, The Kamisato theatre has been redone, and now the geisha and maiko should start doing their rehearsals," Chika added,

"Since you brought that up, Sayuri will be my date for the festival?" Hiro asked, glancing at her. She blushed and nodded, feeling a thrill at the thought of attending the event with him.

"Lord Ayato asked me to be his date I said yes," Momo said with a grin, "It will be a honour to have you there with us, Sayuri."

After lunch Hiro asked Sayuri to follow him, they went to her room a servant was cleaning the bedroom, and there was a big box on her futon.

The servant saw them and bowed, "My love, this is Suzu, she is your personal maid from now on"

Hiro said as he smiled warmly at the woman. "Suzu will take good care of you and make sure you have anything you need." Suzu bowed again "Hello there Lady Sayuri, it's a pleasure to meet you." she said with a warm smile. "Hello there Suzu" Sayuri said. Suzu made her leave so it was just the two of them.

The box on the futon was rather large and intricately decorated.

"Since I knew you were gonna say yes, I got you a special gift for the festival," Hiro said as he lifted the lid off the box revealing a beautiful, light pink kimono, complete with a matching obi. It was adorned with roses with diffirent types of pink.

Sayuri gasped in awe, her eyes wide with delight. "It's beautiful, Hiro. Thank you so much." She carefully picked up the kimono and held it against her, admiring the intricate details. "I can't wait to wear this to the festival."
