91. Jayden x Half -Nighlock Reader Part 1

"A pinch of Elderflower and a tablespoon of volcanic ash," you said as you mixed the concoction, the once grayish liquid slowly transforming into a milky white liquid. "It's finished," you said transferring it into some ancient gourds and tying it with a sealing symbol, " this seal will age it faster and in a couple of days I'll have a batch of xandred's medicine rather than waiting months" you stated. " ooh ah ooh Y/n the master needs you at once!" Octoroo said entering your chambers and you quickly spun around your eyes glowing a furious red as your talons elongated " You know better than to enter without permission" you growled at the octopus nighlock, " Forgive me please, the master needs you at once!" He stammered backing away into a corner Terrified at your angered state. " I'll be down soon and the next time you approach I'll turn you into some Spanish grilled tapas" you hiss exiting the room.

Being Xandred's consort was a tiring Position but you loved it, the power and influence over the nighlocks and to be at your lover's side was something you refused to part with even after several centuries. Entering the main base of the ship passing through the curtain of mimicking puffball nighlocks you were met with Xandred and your rival dayu. "The love you called for me" you purred approaching him, " Y/n where have you been!! And my medicine has run out" he growled. " not to worry my dear I made a new batch today, it will be finished in a couple of days and you still have two bottles left of it." You stated pouring him a cup of his precious medicine, as the milky white liquid pooled into the cup you gently fed it to him wiping away any remnants and drops across his mouth. " There now, are you not feeling better my love?" You asked him as he finished drinking it, his once furious scarlet eyes going back to the glowing amber ones. " I don't know what I would do without you my love," he said as you sat next to him resting your head on his shoulders.

" Ooh ah Ooh, I see the master is better next time y/n don't dilly dally and make sure he gets his medicine on time" Octoroo sated as he entered the main chamber of the ship, furrowing your eyebrows in annoyance you soon shot a small laser ray at him, burning the mollusk based creature making him Yelp in pain. " Octoroo, it would serve you better not to speak to my love like that and we need to find a plan against those pesky rangers. Thinking about them is another headache!" Xandred replied and you and the nighlocks nodded in agreement.

Back at the Shiba house, the rangers were prepping their trip to the Fuyu mountain range where a samurai-based temple was located. The previous generations of the Shiba house ventured there on days of restlessness and after long battles for physical, spiritual, and mental recovery. The mountain range was beautifully adorned with a large creek and many small caves, and as its name suggested large and full Fuyu persimmon trees.

Something Mia herself had been looking most forward to as she had been itching to make some persimmon recipes like persimmon bread, though this thought made the other rangers and master Ji shutter in fear. The rangers had been looking forward to this, especially after many long battles against Master Xandred and his army of countless nighlocks even Jayden and Kevin who usually opted to train were excited too. With the finished packing, the rangers hopped into the samurai van and began to make their way to the temple. As they left Jayden himself couldn't help but feel a sense of worry about leaving panorama city. Master Ji had assured that powerful sealing symbols and talismans had been meticulously and covertly out around the city to ward off any nighlocks and moogers from slipping through the cracks of the netherworld into their own for the remainder of the trip. This brought some comfort to the 18th head of the Shiba clan but still, anything could happen, just not at panorama city he thought. 

Back on the Sanzu river " So what's the plan in mind for the rangers and where is the serrator?" You popped up, " I haven't seen him and why don't we unleash a platoon of moogers while we think of something, that will keep the rangers busy" You suggested, " Not, and except the moogers can't slip into the city some type of barrier has been put up, one of the moogers identified a talisman" Dayu stated. " Ooh ah Ooh A barrier? Surely they don't think the barrier will hold against our army" Octoroo stated. " True the rangers are too proud to rely on cheap tricks like that, they must be planning something or doing something that would require us not interrupting them with moogers and nighlocks," Dayu said as she began to strum her harmonium. "Talismans are usually accompanied by seals and while powerful they don't last forever and slowly weaken" you replied furrowing your eyebrows at her. " The rangers must have left the city to create such a large and powerful barrier, I can only ponder there off somewhere maybe training or seeking new power against us," Xandred said.
