Chapter 93 - The Arrival of the Students

It was the day before the inauguration of the new Jedi Academy, and Luke was in the Temple since earlier morning, preparing everything. He didn't even ate breakfast at home, deciding once he got up from bed, took a shower and after getting dress, he left right away, kissing his wife and son, grabbing something along the way and ate while heading to the Temple.

Aurea was already there helping him, preparing the dormitories for the students, who would live there.

"Relax son. I already bought everything that is necessary. The kids will be fine. The rooms are wonderful. I live here for the next 4 days and I love it, and I've being alone. So imagine when these place will filled with 7 kids." Aurea said smiling watching Luke looking around checking everything.

"I know, but these 7 kids who will come today will be away from their families for some time. Of course they will have vacations that I will make sure they will go and spend with their families, like during the turn of the year, in the middle of the first semester and of course during summer time. Families are important and that is something that I made sure to change. In the old Jedi Order, many kids were way from them families and many of them never saw them again. My father was one of those kids. I don't want that Aurea." he said looking at her. "I have a kid that I couldn't bare to not see him ever again. So I will not do that to these kids either. That is why for those who live here, they will go to their homes at the end of the day. Like a normal school."

Aurea smile

"That is why you will be a great teacher. I also find very sweet of you that you allowed their families to be here for the inauguration tomorrow."

"I think they deserve to see where their kids will be living for a while."

"When they will arrive?" she asked

"This afternoon. I made sure to also purchase a ship that will take them from their systems and take them to their families during their vacations. Only Luna will be in a different one, since she alongside their uncle and aunt will come with my grandparents from Naboo."

"I can't wait to see your grandmother Jobal. I miss her so much." Aurea said with a big smile

"When I told her you would be the one who will take care over the kids, she was so happy. She thought you were dead by now."

Aurea laughed at that.

"As far as I know. I'm not."

Luke check one last time the dormitories and everything and with a nod, he smiled. Now all he needed was his students.

Later that afternoon:

Luke was with Ines, who was holding a babbling Ben in her arms. The baby was feeling better since last week. His gums didn't hurt him anymore but it itchy a lot, so Luke bought a chewing toy, made of specially material for babies to put in their mouths and with that it scratch their gums. Since Ben put it in his mouth he didn't let it go, biting the toy, drooling all over it.

Ines looked at her husband and smiled. His eyes didn't left the place where the Transport Ship just landed.

"Everything will be fine. I'm here with you." she said, sensing his stress. Apparently Ben felt it too cause he extend his favorite toy to Luke, making him laughed at his baby.

"Thank sweetie but Dada doesn't need your toy to calm down. But thank you." he said kissing his forehead and wrapping his right arm around Ines shoulders.

In that moment his students approached them with their families. Luke already knew them all, but Ines didn't and she smiled at the 6 students that just arrived.
