BUTCH P.O.V

I parked near the parking lot and looked back at my family, who were just as excited as I was to find out the gender of the baby.

Jace wasn't here, which was disappointing, but he said his father called and said it was very urgent and he would tell me later, so I believe him.

I assisted Buttercup in getting out of the car while keeping an eye on Bubbles, Boomer, and Alexander, who were staring at us with interest.

"We can't all go inside." I said as I laughed, and all three of them frowned irritably while Boomer said "But it's not fair because I'm the baby's uncle. I have to go inside "This made me laugh even harder.

"And I am the baby's father," I smirked as he glared at me, annoyed. "Stop annoying us, brother Butch," Alexander yelled, and I laughed and nodded.

"You can call Brick and Blossom while I will stay in contact with you guys on call," I said as Alexander quickly nodded and took out his phone, indicating that I needed to call him.

Buttercup stared at us all silently, and I could tell she was thinking a lot of questions, and she must be feeling insecure and nervous as usual.

"Don't make too much noise, okay?" I said as they all nodded so I shut the door behind me while I walked away, carefully bringing Buttercup inside.

I made her sit on the chair while I went to check on the appointment we had, and because we were 10 minutes early, we had to sit and wait for our turn.

I questioned "Are you nervous, my babygirl?" As I held Buttercup's hand and kissed her knuckles, she stuttered out her response, "N-No, why would I be nervous?"

This girl seriously believes I'll buy it. She's so adorable that I want to tease and bully her, but I can tell she's scared right now.

"You're stuttering," I smirked, gently drawing her closer to me while she rested her head on my shoulder.

"Y-yeah, I'm nervous," Buttercup said as I hummed while playing with her hair and she sighed, her hand on top of my right hand.

"So, what's causing the love of my life to be so nervous?" I inquired as she sighed once more and replied, "Because I don't know the baby's gender," which made me smile.

"Does gender make a difference?" As I saw her close her eyes, I questioned again, hoping that talking would cheer her up a little.

"I'm not sure, but does it matter to you?" Buttercup asked me a question as I chuckled and took out my phone to open the camera.

"No, it's going to be a baby for me no matter what." I said as I took a picture of us, "I will love that baby regardless of gender," and then sent it to the group to show them that we were in the waiting area.
