Chapter 10- Surprises and Memories

"What the hell!" Lizzie shouted coming over to me.

"YN, Why the hell didn't you tell me?!" I hear Tom shout from the back. I gave a faint smile.

"Cause everyone's reactions were worth it!"

"How long have you known?" Scar asked with a big grin on her face.

"Since the night you guys came over and celebrated at the house, I had signed my contract that morning."

"You really didn't tell me for 6 months? Damn YN! I thought we were closer than that!" Anthony shouted with a fake pouty look. Everyone laughed at him and I rolled my eyes.

"I'm glad we have the next 5 months to hang out." Seb said as he pulled me in a side hug. I knew at this point that Seb didn't feel any romantic relations with me and that was okay. I was happy to call him a close friend, something I only had a few of. Chris stood off a bit shocked still. I gave a gentle smile before walking up to him. I stood there for a moment before I slowly wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Hey you." I whispered in his ear. I fell him move and his arms wrap around my waist as he picked me up and spun me around. I couldn't help but let out a small shriek. I pulled away from the hug still in his arms, feet not touching the ground. I could saw his smile reaching up to his eyes.

"I can't believe you are here!" Chris finally spoke as he slowly lowered me to the ground.

"Were you surprised?" I asked still smiling like an idiot.

"Very, this was a good surprise, I love it." I heard someone clear their throat behind us and I roll my eyes knowing full well who it is. I turn around still in Chris's embrace to see Tom.

"WHAT THE HELL YN?!" Hiddleston shouted as he stormed over. I couldn't help but step back further into Chris's embrace as I flinched away. Tom stopped in his tracks when he saw that. Everyone stood confused watching the scene unfold and I feel Chris hold me a bit closer to his chest. "YN, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't ha-."

"Drop it." I whisper only loud enough for him and Chris to hear. He nods his head before slowly taking a step towards me. I tried to blink back the tears.

"I wish you had told me you were coming, how about you go to your trailer and spend some time with Loki?" I look at the floor nodding my head. I couldn't move at first but then I heard one of the Russo brothers speak up.

"Go ahead and take a break YN, we won't need you for this next scene." I couldn't say anything as I got out of Chris's embrace and nearly booked it for the door not looking around or saying anything. I get outside and feel the light mist of rain on my face. I look around in a panic before seeing my trailer and running for the door. I get inside and slam the door behind me. I barley make it two feet before falling to the ground struggling to breath. Loki saw me and got off the couch and walked over to me as he slowly started to rub his head against my leg before batting at me. I got a bit more of my bearings laying down and I felt him climb on me and lay down on my chest. I hear a knock on the door and Loki looks over but doesn't move. I'm still struggling to breath and can't answer.

"YN? It's Chris." A few moments of silence go by and there is a knock again. The nob moves a bit. "YN, I'm coming in." He opens the door slowly and sees me on the ground starring at the ceiling with Loki purring on my chest. I still had tears falling of my cheeks onto the floor. He comes in and closes the door before getting on the floor next to me.

"Are you okay?" I shake my head through the tears. Chris was patient, he has never been with me when things get this bad, but he was kind enough to hold my hand and lay on the floor next to me as I very slowly calm down.

"Th-Thank you." I manage to say with a burning in my nose and throat.

"You're welcome." He whispers as he still holds my hand. He uses his thumb to slowly rub my knuckles.

"You probably want to know what that was all about."

"Only if you want to tell me, otherwise, I'm going to pick you up off the floor and we are going to cuddle on the couch for the next hour before you need a touch up on your makeup."

"I'd like that." Chris sits up a bit quickly and now that Loki can tell I've calmed down he hops off my chest heading to his small bed on the floor. I sit up slowly and Chris went to pick me up but I put out my hands instead and he helped me off the floor. We quietly moved the couch and Chris sat on the corner. I grabbed a blanket and cuddled up into his side. With everything that happened I ended up closing my eyes and fell asleep against Chris.

~Chris's POV~

It didn't take long of her laying against me for her to fall asleep. I sat there in silence as I played with her hair a bit. She had been asleep for about 10 minutes when a knock occurred on the door. It opened and I saw Tom walk in with a worried look. I tensed up a bit. I didn't know if Tom had triggered something in her to freak out or if this was something he has done in the past. Hiddleston walked in and saw us on the couch. I used my free hand to put it up to my lip to let him know to be quiet. He stepped over to me and sat in the open chair to my right.

"Joseph and Anthony said we are done filming for tonight with everything that happened. They are happy with what they got and are calling it a day." Tom whispered as he looked upon YN with sad eyes. I nodded my head at his words before finally speaking up.

"What happened to you out there Tom? You never get angry and that wasn't a happy what the hell either. You genuinely scared her." I whispered looking at YN to make sure she hadn't woken up.

"I knew better than to raise my voice at her, she's had a shitty childhood. I don't how much she's told you about it so I'm not going in depth but it wasn't pretty. I was pissed but happy at the same time and my mouth took over before my brain could. I've had her living with me and she never told me she got the part. I felt a bit betrayed." Hiddleston let out a thoughtful sigh and I knew he had regretted his actions.

"We both know she would have told you if she could, and if she could she did it for the surprise. I mean everyone was shocked and excited. Now, imagine MCU getting raw footage like that. We all know that fans love those genuine reactions and most of the time anything that is genuine or adlibbed are mentioned like crazy."

"You're probably right Evans, I can stay with her, if you have plans that is." I look down and YN's small figure as her legs are curled up and her head is on my chest.

"No, it's okay, I got her." I couldn't help but smile as I looked at her. I don't know what's come over me these last few months but she has been my priority no matter what. She was the light on my dark days and I couldn't be more than grateful for having her as my best friend in my life. Tom gave a subtle nod as a goodbye before leaving the trailer. Loki got up stretching from his bed before hoping up to the arm rest of the couch and crawling onto my lap. Sure, he wasn't Dodger, but something about Loki had a sense of calm and I understand why YN brings him with her everywhere. I laid my head back against the wall and closed my eyes while I continued to play with her hair and enjoyed this moment.
